  1. The Tide is High - Blondie. Paragons cover.
  2. I'm not the best at posting the topics in the proper sections.
  3. I thought it was the other way around. $30 if you are in the states. I don't remember how much for Canada.
  4. I might try that strip across the top next.
  5. I often do a lot of GM stuff but this time it was a Ford.
  6. Thats not a bad idea but this is a Ford van.
  7. Hitch Hike - The Sonics. Marvin Gaye cover.
  8. Whell, I used the Meguiars stuff on a Q-tip with minimal results. I guess I'll have to just live with it now. At least I learned a valuable lesson for next time ad that bottle of "clear parts specific " glue went straight into the trashcan.
  9. I tried to buff out that Glue smudge inside the windshield using a Q-tip wit that plastic polishing polish on it with minimal results. I guess I'll have to just live with it.
  10. Still working on the final details. These tiny door handles were a lot more difficult to Glue into place than I thought they would be. The fact that I didn't lose any of them was a small miracle. Finally got that winch into place. I don't know why, but I always seem to paint the hooks red.
  11. Like I say, no room for sandpaper. It's a really tiny space I have to work with. If I can get in there with a Q-tip, I'm lucky.
  12. Good tip. I think I'll try that next time. Thanks Steve.
  13. The first Trans Ams were a little foofy for my taste. Too many spoilers and things that do nothing performance wise. By the mid 70s the were downright poser mobiles. Disco decal cars. We used to call them Guido cars and I'm Italian.
  14. The world has been Trans Amed to death. Why no love for the Formula?
  15. Wow! That kit is huge. Sure wish they would do the '70 Formula. Now that kit I would wait in line for.
  16. Me too. I'm more a fan of the generation after this one. This generation seemed a little in the dark ages to me. the generation before that had zero styling. ?
  17. This glue is the stuff Testors makes that is supposed to be specifically for clear plastic such as windshields. If you are still interested, I have a brand new sealed Highjacker van kit that they re-issued a few years back that I would trade for the right model.
  18. As you can see from the picture the windshield is already installed and there is very limited space. There is no way I'm getting any sand paper or polishing cloth in there. The glue is on the inside so I'm thinking I will need to go in with a q-tip with something on it.
  19. Thanks Steve. I try the glass cleaner. If that won't work, I have some scratch remover polish for plastic I can try.
  20. Not under glass just yet. I couldn't get that 4 teir rack to fit right so I had to cut it down to 2 and put the rifle and shotgun up and the bow and fishing rod will just sit on the bed for now. I had to raise the bed a bit for storage underneath for the spare tire and toolbox.
  21. As I understand that's for real glass windshields.
  22. I would but this kit is a 1/20 MPC Ford van kit and they are going for like $130 on Ebay. It's also already installed so I have to do all I can to save it.
