  1. Stretchwalls on the original Batmobile would be interesting...
  2. Here's the place to post pics, discuss the 1:1 car's options, and post and collect information for use when building Revell's '70 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda.
  3. No time to feel bad....I just saw the other new announcements in the Kit Reviews section.
  4. Thanks, Paul. Best year ever from Revell. Let's see... 1) 1/25 '70 'Cuda 2'n1 -- It appears it will have lowered suspension and both chrome plated and "rubber" bumpers, a Dana rearend, a non-Tuff steering wheel (can't make it out), a separate center console (thank you!), and separate "louvered" rocker panel moldings, too. 2) 1/25 '69 Chevy Camaro ZL-1 -- I hope we get a proper set of exhaust manifolds in the modified reissue, but I expect the headers and chambered exhaust system (probably most correct for this car, though) from the 427 Yenko kit will be included. 3) 1/25 '57 Chevy Bel Air Convertible -- Mark will be pleased with this one. 4) 1/25 '92 Mustang LX 5.0 notchback -- the long rumored kit finally sees the light of day. Good the see the '65 Chevelle Z-16 reissued, too, as that's a very underrated, but excellent kit. Ditto for the '66 Chevelle wagon.
  5. That obvious I don't know the difference, huh?
  6. OK, I was just curious. Thanks for posting the info, Ron. I'm sure Pat, Steve, or someone else will post some pics when they have a chance.
  7. This is why the Reviews sections here are worth reading, or at least looking through, before you plunk down your cash for a kit: http://www.modelcars...1135&hl=wrecker
  8. No idea, Lee. Just Google "red fishing line" and you'll have plenty of options.
  9. I read that suggestion/guess in the comments on Revell's facebook page (maybe it was yours? ), and it would be a great idea. The Mod Squad kit from Aurora is still highly sought after, and if a woody can be based on the '49 custom tooling, even better.
  10. Bob mentioned on Revell's facebook page, in the '62 Vette announcement post, that MCG is doing a set for the Vette. Maybe they made a set for the Pro Modeler '59 Vette previously? Thank a former member, Donnie Boger, for that tip.
  11. The Monogram '81 Chevy Citation kit also had the 2.8L V6, but will have a FWD transaxle, and it's 1/24 scale.
  12. Here's their website: http://www.niborshotrodshop.com/
  13. I would think Model Car Garage is going to do a set for this car?
  14. Better pic from Toledo NNL: Looks like both the stock and custom versions are depicted, with the correct body-colored headlight bezels now. The Special Edition box looks a little different, too? I am liking the custom wheels.
  15. I hope you're right, Steve, as I'd prefer that version over the formal roof, and Revell has recently discontinued the 'verts. Looking forward to both you and Pat taking and sharing some pics.
  16. The wait is almost over, folks:
  17. If you thought the '68 Firebird's box art sketch was misleading, you better be sitting down for this one!: Same deal as the '68 Firebird- same '67 Dodge Coronet R/T kit with new Foose-designed wheels, lo-pro tires to match, and a custom bumblebee style tail stripe decal.
  18. Sounds like it, and it looks like the '70 Hemi Cuda, a '50 Mercury, (and I think the red car is a) Fox Mustang Coupe are all new kits for 2013: Now, who's bringing a camera to Toledo this weekend?
  19. Honestly, no. Revell has done the four most popular versions-- 3-window, 5-window, sedan, and highboy-- and you can kitbash between them to make other versions, so I don't see much demand for a B-400, stock anything, Victoria, Phaeton, nor panel/SD. The Vicky is too much like the sedan for the average consumer, so I don't see 50,000 sales of that version happening. Now, if some of the parts from the '32s could be shared with an all-new '34, that opens up many more possibilities, but for '32s alone, Revell has squeezed all the toothpaste of of this tube.
  20. I think the Dank Fink Speedwagon was as far "out there" as Revell is going to, then add in the forthcoming Rat Roaster, and I don't see any new kits based on the '32 Ford tooling happening.
  21. I don't think it's a good idea to post an advertisement for something you have listed there, on eBay, or anywhere else.
  22. I'm not even into big rigs that much, but this is one of if not the best review I've ever read on this forum.
