  1. Thanks, I will build one up, but if if doesn’t work, I’ll add the bumper to my box of bad ideas 🤪
  2. Putting some time in defining this build. The gap from the front fender to the bumper needs addressed. Think I will try to add a panel to the bumper that closes that gap but allows the hood to rotate forward. Second: I don’t like how the bumper just terminates in front of the tires. Maybe add bumper ends, add a transition radius, then add a radius that matches the wheel opening. I want to follow the theme of a mild custom build. I may also recess blue marker lights across the bottom of the bumper and recess the license plate as well. On another note: I ordered PE dash kit, interior kit, some lighting stuff and a grill kit.
  3. I wish I had your knowledge and skills , you can pretty much build anything you want and it looks so cool, well done.
  4. Oh I like this, but got a question. Will there be a man hole or door for tank entry? man that is cool.
  5. Getting the direction of this build mocked up.
  6. Truck build is evolving, giving the build some muscle. Found some floats and made up some front hubs, may change the axle out for something more heavy duty, added flares to give it a more muscle look. Spent a lot of time searching for taller/wider rear tires and rims with the correct spacing to not allow tires to touch. Rear tires are almost the same height as the fronts, very close. Motor: I do have one more larger turbo that could be added to the Cummins 6 or I did find a twin turbo 903 Cummins…hhhmmmmm. I did drive a truck with a 903 Cummins, just a thundering motor.
  7. There sure is, you could build a truck model totally from aftermarket resin cast or 3D printing. Check out Global Scale model trucks as well.
  8. Dats purdy and shiny, well done on your paint.
  9. https://www.auslowe.com.au/shop/category/dolly-kits/347 these can be purchased direct from Auslowe in Australia or from Paul at ST Supply in Canada or from SpurKraut in the US. Kinda depends on who has inventory., just order the correct scale.
  10. Sitting better for sure, will study the way it sits, may want to lower it a bit more or go with this setup. Undecided. Got to get the front height set, then I can set the rear ride height to keep it level.
  11. First mock-up, lowered the front of truck about two scale inches, so far. Used slightly narrower front axle from my parts bin to locate the wheels where they should be.
  12. Oh… agree, that custom makeover probably cost as much as the original purchase price, rich man’s game for sure.
  13. Doing some research this morning on customizing, I have been following this build on Semi Casual (YouTube). It’s clean and simple application of customization. panel added between tanks behind sleeper, place for my blue lights. panel added to close in front of rear fenders wow, this picture puts a whole new meaning to detailing air tanks. Not sure of the defining line between mild custom and a full custom build, but I’m throwing caution to the wind.
  14. Brian, you realize you are influencing all our builds, I can steal two or three cool tips or build ideas for my next build….but I can’t remember 30 or 50 detail ideas, that’s just sensory overload. 🤪😂🤣😜. Just a great build.
  15. Ditto, that exhaust has some of the best weathering I’ve seen, well done.
  16. It does feel good to finish one and start another…..but…..I have this thing going on where I can’t stop dreaming up new projects……squirrel 🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️ Brian, can you feel your finish line yet?
  17. Steal away, then I can steal some ideas from your build😁😁
  18. I have not used this suspension before, bit of a learning curve, see how it goes. May try to build a fixture to get axle heights and spacing correct.
  19. Now that…is a cool load for your truck. I did not know that Plastruct made stuff like that.
