  1. Cool. Will you be serving italian sausage with green peppers n onions? Do not forget the hot sauce. Thanks now you made me hungry.
  2. I have heard of them seen them on line and in model kits but never in a 1:1. We had a 67 impala with the rear seat speaker greatest darn ever.
  3. No problem. I will be looking to see those rims. Not sure i haveseen them before.
  4. As far as spray can primer i really like duplicolor. It lays down smooth, there is a scratch filler and a deep scratch filler. I use the scrstch filler with no issues.
  5. I like that. It is different. Did you make the rear part?
  6. Cool truck. Love the blue. Did you use like a krylon plastic bonding primer? I think any of them plastic bonding primers or paints cause the plastic to act like that.
  7. Nice job. Paint looks like it belongs there.
  8. Killer work. The cragar/ keystone style look best to me, and if you tinted the spokes and left the rims chrome i think that would look even better. The first ones reminds me of some steel rims i had on a chevy shoveit. More off road looking on a truck.
  9. Thanks. Bell bottoms n shackles and you was one of the cool kids. Dang, life was easier back then well more fun any way. A buddys older brother had a mustard or baby poo yellow pinto but he had a pioneer system in it so we got him to drive us around until my other buddy got a 68 ford truck with a 360 n 3 on the tree.
  10. That is soooo sick. Skulls and hot rods, just does not get much better. You painting skills brings it to life.
  11. Oh my. Never had the white belt but i did sport some leisure suits. And the shirts printed with images on them. And the tall sole shoes. I had one pair i think must of had a 2 inch heel. Dang we was cool. Good ole days. And anyone wanted to raise the rear end of a vehicle just used shackles.
  12. Thanks. Funny how the fads on vehicles are about like fads on clothes, they have their own eras. Like bell bottom jeans.
  13. Them old glass packs where cool back then. We was poor and instead of the cherry bombs we had orange peelers, it was like 71 or 72 i got to help the old man work on the 66 malibu. That was a 2 door. Later we had a 4 door.
  14. This has been sitting a few years. My dad had bought a old louisville water company truck, it was black and orange. He sanded and sanded and put it in red primer. It was a 6 cylinder and he put stacks on it. Had to have a y pipe made. Mom hated them stacks because after a rain when he started the truck soot just shot out all over her car. He had to be sure to park behind her. My strongest memory of this truck is the sound. I was cutting school one day i was visiting a girl at another school. That school had 2 morning bells, the 1st was a warning the 2nd one meant the doors are locked and you cannot get out. I made it out and was walking down preston street. All of a sudden i hear those pipes, i was like oh BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Ducked down behind the concrete barrier an re tied my shoe. Thought for sure i was busted. Cab is moebius 72 sport coupe, the engine is from moebius 66 ford f100, this bed is from 2 other kits. May build the bed from the 66 and try it. Wheels and rims from junk parts. The hold up was the stacks, could not find any even close even bought aluminum tube to build some but the shrouds became an issue. But now thanks to " olmadmodeler" i now have these which are perfect. Thanks Steve. I was working on the del rio edsel wagon but screwed up the interior panels. One day i may learn to leave well enough alone.
  15. Here we have IGC. Indiana Gaming Commission. I was as casino/slot tech for 5 years. We had black uniforms, a few departments did. But the techs got the name " men in black." Go to work on a game and the reps would say, here they come, here come the men in black.
  16. Cool post. Mine is from the love of my life. Way back in 86 i was 23 in the Army stationed at ft knox, close to home, Louisville. A buddy and I was cruising Cherokee park. Seen a few groups of girls and could not decide which one to stop and talk to. Then i seen her, these yellow shorts on thicker tan legs. As i was walking up to her i felt like i was in a cartoon, you know floating 2 ft off the ground stars flying around my head. After talking to her and getting her name number and a little kiss i knew i found the one. My name is Tony and hers is Tina. Some times friends would say here comes " TnT".
  17. Yeah. I use coleman fuel. They use mantles similar to lanterns. Some have to be pre heated. If it has a loop in the tube going up. These things are responsible for many house fires back in the day. Imagine living with these things and actually needing and using them?
  18. Cool. Did you make the parts?
  19. Trades. Not looking for anything particular. Well maybe wagon kits.
  20. Thanks. You need this one?
  21. I was a few years back. Actually started because i was into old lanterns. I bought a bunch of pieces and parts here n there. The best one i got to work was a montgomery ward, if memory serves me right. I have others that work but never found all the right parts. But this one is a beauty. The shade is a reproduction from the early 70s. Then they still had a bit of hand painting but mostly decals or print. It is cool to burn them every now n then. This one had a special paint job which i was able to save a bit with clear coat. The one with the green shade which is an original is really good for parts as the font developed a hole. I have another font but it is newer. The chrome font has no built in pump, you need an external hand pump. Think i have 3 fonts with parts in the garage.
  22. Love the way she got her name. But truly sorry it happened. Wish i could still ride. Old harleys are like old JD tractors. You cannot beat or replicate them exhaust notes. Keep the shiny side up.
