  1. Looks really good. Opened my kit read the instructions and was wondering whybthe roof was in so many pieces. Then i closed it up and put it on the shelf
  2. Cool kit. I have the lost in space robot, unbuilt. Might have to find this kit.
  3. Too cool. Do you write yout own files, or is there a place to snag them?
  4. Thanks. Thought the big tires and putting the tow hook in the bed might be cool.
  5. Picked this up on sale. While i was laid up got to looking at it thought i liked the blue n yellow sunoco pic. After getting into the box i did not care for any of the pics. Think i was watching welder up the main guy was cruising the dessert for old cars and i thought how cool would that be. Then it hit me. If i found this cab in the dessert or maybe a old field out here what would i do. Chop the top, channel the cab. Thought about doing the Z frame but i want this one to ride kind of high. Then to challenge my self i said only paints in vallejo's rust, stain, n streaking paint set. The main color is rust wash it took a lot to get the paint solid looking. But their are 8 colors to use. The wheels are not set in stone i may try some spokes on the front. And i would like a in line 4 or 6 cylinder, may have to dig around and see if i have any. Think i found my donor motor. It is a ford courier super stones. Now to get it out without breaking anything.
  6. Looks good.
  7. Way to many to even list, of course not too many in modern day music. But there is one that the whole song would qualify, stevie ray vaughn's lenny.
  8. Sorry to hear. When i was in having my toes removed they kept asking me how many times i have fallen. They asked me so many times i think they wanted me to tell them i have fallen. I know falling is a part of getting older. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
  9. Lol. Thats good for a chuckle.
  10. I use coffee bags. But my daughter may have one. Thanks
  11. Sharp looking. I like how the hood decal works with the paint. Sorta ghosty.
  12. Great looking build.
  13. Looks good for its age.
  14. That is sharp. Love the interior work.
  15. Cool thanks, may end up there.
  16. Thanks. Way back in 79 mom had a 76 torino it was green on green on green. The paint and brougham vinyl top was nice but the green they used on the interior was sorta ugly. But it was a very cool metal flake green paint. Not a very good car for getting your permit in the back window was useless.
  17. Thanks. I was a plumberfor 26 years and was going to look for a screen out of a old faucet aeroator. If not metal screen was my next idea.
  18. Nice looking. Do not see many un cut or un chop mercs. Will be watching this.
  19. Looks great. Good choice on the color. I like seeing builds with the more rare factory colors. Nothing wrong with the purples n oranges n such but we seem to have a tendency to use the popular colors. And i get that lord knows i still do it.
  20. This has been sitting for a bit. Mixed a custom paint. Valejo gold, silver, 2 greens, and a bit of black. Was going daily driver, but it does not work in my brain. Can't mix n match rims n tires they are all different ID and OD. So looking at the thunder hood i wondered why they just do not mold them open. Cut it open so now it will have the thunder hood and motor but more of a street build. Going to be a flat black hood. I have always liked the old school flat black hoods from yesteryear. Took decals from another kit. Think it was from the Trucks line of kits.
  21. I grew up next to a train with at least 30 tracks near Uof L. Really would like to find some model trains. Those are some cool builds and pics.
  22. Very nice looking. Tried a few times to get that kit.
