Going through parts trying to find rims. These pieces always have me wondering what kit they are from. They are a bit bigger than 24 or 25 scale. Years ago when i was with another mag i made a trade and i got a box of parts and these happened to be in there. The pic with 2 hoods are to give an idea of scale. I think the black hood is from a camaro.

This is the AMT surf shark. Soon as i seen it i knew i wanted to fill the holes in the roof. Found some white walls. The baby moons are a bit wide but i think i sand off enough to make them fit. Since it is a curbside with the one piece frame i figured what the heck. The rear axle is brass tube on the top of the frame. The front i could just drill new holes. I did have to cut a lot off of the front fender wells. But it rides low. I thought maybe some day i would build a frame then i thought, who am i kidding? Not sure if it is going to be flat or gloss black.

Looks darn good. I did one mixed up some paint, the paint did not lay right so it went back in the box until i strip it. Is that frog tape? I tried masking with it but the paint ran under it. Maybe i need to burnish it down a bit more.

Hope it all gets better. Sometimes side effects are worse than the ailment.

The chrome on the tailgate maybe an option. I believe the 55 had them maybe it is a 55 tailgate?

A friend of ours had a 3 legged blk lab they named tripod. 3 legs did not slow him down.

Funny. See them little critters run across the road. All you see is a blur going 100 mph with a tail straight up.

Daughter got this for me. Rolife on amazon. She builds some of their kits. Not very big. It is crowded with all the parts. Some are way out of scale. But i figured i could leave some of the parts out and maybe add on to the size. My favorite part is the light fixture.
