I was curious if you can add vallejo top coats to paint before spraying or is it strictly to be used as a top coat? Thanks for any info.

Been wondering about this kit. Thanks for the info. Maybe after a good coat of primer and a few coats of paint the gap may close up a bit. Blue engine was factory but i do not see why you can't paint whatever color you want. Just call it custom.

Cool. I have a bunch. Years ago my F.I.L. bought a bunch since i collected die cast. He bought doubles then gave me his set also. Some pretty cool pieces. I fotget what all is in the boxes. That and them hardware store ertl banks.

That is cool. My wifes uncle had mgs think it was a TD, A, and a 70 something. Mercedes and jaqs. The wifes mom drove a morris henry and like i said the wife had the spitfire. The 3s n 4s just have a look all their own from the front from the rear i get a bit confused. They all can be a bit scary next to a semi on the freeway rolling at 70 mph.

Went to Sams club with DW today. Seen three big displays of maisto 1/18 diecast. Less than 20 bucks. Had all kinds. 79 ford pick up was cool. 67 n 69 mustang. 55 vw. 49 ford. 65 gto. Bunch of exotics. I did get the bandit. Of course it is not marked the bandit. It was a toss up between this , the 55 bug, and the 79 ford pick up. I do not usually collect 18 scale but i do have some. For less than 20 bucks it is hard to beat. If this old news sorry.

I am building the 66. It is a great kit, much better than the 65. I have molded in the hood scoop and made deep steelies for the rear. Going to be the the rare white version. Thought i may try to find a resin engine for it. I wish the galaxie had the same deatail that the fairlane did. The fairlane is one of AMTs better kits.

Sweet. Triumphs are under rated. Yours looks top notch. When i met my wife in 86 she had like 72 spitfire. Her uncle gave me a set of dual carbs and the tool t adjust them. Not really fast cars but fun. Always wanted a tr6 myself.

Great looking build. Always interesting how other lands use the ford brand and the cars look so different but in some ways alike. When i was in germany fords where all over.

I bet it is. 65 is my favorite. Had one in germany back in the early 80s. It was a mess gave a guy 275 bucks for it. Sold it for 350. Worst mistake in my life.

Thanks. I can't find the article. It was some cool history. I just remember the article saying it was rumored there was a 65 stang with the emberglo and a 7 litre. A lot of fords records got lost. If i had the money to order a 65 with emberglo it would be the fastback.
