The other night i was making breakfast for dinner. Making some peppery bacon gravy. Emptied the pepper can. I thought to myself i hate to throw away a good metal tin. Then it came to me. Used blade container. It has a small n large opening.

It was duplicolor gray primer then sanded with 2000 wet dry paper. Then duplicolor black. Started with a tacky coat then a few light coats then a good solid coat. Then wet sanded with s few drops of dawn with 2000 wet dry. A few days to dry then one good solid coat. Then used those sanding pads and dawn to wet sand. And our water is so hard i will not wash my 1:1 cars with it because it will etch water spots in the glass. So i used paper towels to dry the kit of and i will use the damp peper towel to buff the kit body. Then i have to decide if i going to clear coat it or not, usually not. Then i just use meguuiar's gold paste wax and sometimes the liquid and some times both. Then pray that i do not rub through. I sometimes use turtle wax rubbing compound but you have to be easy with that it cuts good but you can get rub through fast.

Good luck. Sounds like a good plan

Change # 3076. Was going to do it in white. But since i bought a 2nd kit going in black. Imagine it as moms weekly grocery getter. Then dad says he needs to run to the hardware store on the weekend. But just painted n buffed it out and another future build maybe for winter. Weather is nice n hot so getting some bodies done.

Well i know have that kit. Took the wife to hobby lobby. Told her they have fall stuff out. We get in the door she goes left and i go to the back. Of course it takes me forever to look at the kits. I have almost everyone they have on the shelves. I had this one in my hand looking at the bandai kits. She walks up and says go ahead n get it you know you want it. Told her to pick a color. She picks testors lacquer in firey orange. Told her good choice. Gotta love a woman who supports me in my hobbies.
