  1. Holy BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH that is sweet. Looks great.
  2. Cool build. Which kit is that?
  3. Tip top work. Looks great.
  4. Sharp work right there. Looks great.
  5. Thanks. One of them lucky times it all went well.
  6. They do cover good and the are nice to buff. A pain to remove if i mess up. I have the 70s monte carlo and the paint bubbled on the lower side a little and i soaked it in purple power and the paint still looks great. May just sand out the bubbles.
  7. Thanks. Those laqeurs are tough to use some times and then the clear can make them look chunky. I just leave them in the sun on a hot day and shake really good and use light coats and pray it all comes out good. The white spots are refections. Looks like chips or rub through but its not. Done that before.
  8. TNT

    91 Firebird

    Another good looking build.
  9. Super sweet. Leave the keys in it and i will be by for a test drive.
  10. Dang it looks so good i thought he had a vette in his kitchen.
  11. Great job on that tractor. Is that a Heller kit? Looks ready for the tractor parade getting ready to happen in town.
  12. Those are cool. 1970 i was 7, was 2 years before i would start building.
  13. Cool build. I had read in another mag that that kit was not very good either. But after seeing yours i may have to pick up a couple. Thanks.
  14. Very nice build. In the 1:1 world the 67 impala is my #1 want.
  15. Dang i would like to drive that around. Looks like you have your work cut out for you. Good luck.
  16. Just buffed this out with wax no clear. Used testors star spangled blue lacquer. Primed then lightly sanded then 2 coats of paint then lightly sanded and a final coat then buffed out with wax. Just another body painted for a winter build. Maybe.
  17. I get that way too. Goes with the hobby i reckon.
  18. Thanks. It is hard to not want to chop a kit up or up grade a part or two.
  19. No. I picked up another 66 fairlane 427, and the 34 slammer. Plus 2 small star wars. But the sale stull goes on.
  20. Thanks, neither color in metallic was available way back then, oh well. And in the pics the bodies are switched going to do the top up turtle on the fenders.
  21. Looks like a good start. Studes had a flair all their own.
  22. Yesterday i woke up and just wanted to paint something mainly a body. Since the 66 galaxie 500 interior just is not right i needed a break. Went to the dungeon and looked through my stash. I forgot that the amt 1925 model kit has 2 builds. So i grabbed it and went through my foo foo cans of spray. I had a little duplicolor metallic black and 2 new cans of duplicolor patriot blue. Did a quick cleaning of mold lines n such wiped them down with alcohol wipes. Put everything outside to warm. No primer. Sprayed the parts and of course in this weather it hazed over which i figured it would. But with meguiar's gold paste n liquid wax i knew it would buff out. But i got that urge out of my system i can put these away and get back to the galaxie. i said to myself build right out of box nothing added nothing removed. Be darned if the way i want to build it was with steelies and 4 narrow tires. The darn rims are only 2 skinny 2 fats. So i may actually had to find 2 steel rims for the rear. Thanks for looking.
  23. Just left hobby lobby myself. Had it in my hand. Should be sharp in white. Good luck.
