  1. Cool truck Steve. I enjoyed your wip on this and the way you did the exhaust. The 37 parts look good on this. Wheels, stance and patina are spot on. Cheers, David. ??
  2. G'day Phil. I followed your wip and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Parts you used to build the V12 was ingenious. I look forward to your next project. Cheers, David. ??
  3. G'day Steve, great wip. I'm wondering what size solder you use for your exhaust. It's a great idea of which I would like to use on my projects. Cheers, David. ??
  4. Another cool GM should've been. Nice work Glen. Cheers, David. ??
  5. Outstanding Buick Andreas. Your detail work is impressive. Cheers, David ??

    66 Beetle

G'day Helmut, the wheels and tyres are box stock. I chromed them with a Molotow chrome pen and deleted the hub caps. Cheers, David. ??
  7. Nice to see one that's not red. Yours is outstanding. Great build Sonny and well worth the wait. Cheers, David. ??
  8. Tuff 57 James. I like how you deleted the flash panel for body colour. Cheers, David. ??
  9. Nice Pontiac Tony. You got the stance spot on. A very clean build. Cheers, David. ??

    66 Beetle

Thanks Les, I wasn't sure if the flash panel was Aussie but had my suspicions as I've only ever seen it here in Australia. As for the wagon and truck, I don't recall seeing any on the road growing up in the 60s and 70s. Cheers, David. ??

    With a Molotow chrome pen.
  13. Awsome Plymouth Tony. I've been contemplating purchasing this kit. Now it's definitely on my Santa list. Cheers, David. ??
  14. Awesome beetle Mathias. I just finished my 66 and enjoyed the build. Those Tamiya kits fit together so precisely. Yours is spot on. Cheers, David. ??

    66 Beetle

G'day guys. Here is my spin on the Tamiya 1966 Beetle. I've built it box stock except for a lowered stance, deletion of the fender mounted turn signals and custom two tone. I also added ignition wires. I hope you like. All feedback is welcome. Cheers, David. ??
  17. With all the drama you had on this one Pat it still looks very nice. Well done. Cheers, David. ??
  18. Cool 39 Bruce. Colours, wheels and stance make this Chevy stand out. Cheers, David. ??
  19. Your off to a great start Lee. I like your personal touch on this kit. I still have kits from when I first started in my early teens. Occasionally I'll rebuild them, adding details that I have learnt over the past 40 years. This forum is a great source for tips on how to add detail to your builds. Remember, have fun and always build it for you, your way. Cheers, David. ??
  20. Another very kool build Ken. The colour on this screams "look at me". Again, you have a great eye for kool hotrods. Cheers, David. ??
  21. It's looking awsome Steve. It would be a shame to box it when your so close. Mathias has good advice, I also step away from builds quite often so as to evaluate and refresh. I look forward to seeing your finished build. Cheers, David. ??
  22. Nice Beetle John. For a snap kit you did really well to bring it to life. Cheers, David. ??
  23. Your Merc looks great Bob. I followed your wip and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the tip on using the eraser to stamp the raised body detail. Cheers, David. ??
  24. Great kit. I built this in my teens. Will be following yours. Cheers, David. ??
