Like bbowser said, it's all about the fun.

Outstanding! These old compacts were popular with the gassers as they were lightweight. The paint is incredible and represents it's 1:1 origins well. I've built this kit way back in the 80s but sadly lost it in a house move. Another nice kit is the revell Thames panel gasser. Mine needs a rebuild but would be well worth it. Again, great British gasser. Cheers, David. ??

I've never thought of building a 3rd generation vette but your build has got me thinking. Great job and nice detail. Cheers, David. ?? -
Nice build James. I like the blacked out hood. I have the AMT 72 Nova and was unsure how to build it. Now I'm sure I'll be building it for the strip. Cheers, David. ??

Looking good James. When using Molotow pens I found that I have to run it slowly so it pools or let it dry and run it over again but they do tend to loose their gloss. God speed to your wife for a quick recovery.

Cool. Love the windows. Nice build. It has a 70s look with a modern spin. ?? -
Hi Stephen, your post touched my heart. I lost my father suddenly when I was twelve. It's great to see father son projects like these. Your styles are so different but equally pleasing. Your fathers hot rod build reminds me of those wild customs of the late 50s and 60s that teenagers would build from junkyard parts on the cheap. Always cherish what you have with your father, it's special.

G'day guys. Fresh off the bench is my Revell '37 Ford panel delivery. I've built it in the street rod style with a Halloween theme. Her name is Sabrina and she has an independent front suspension set up with lowered spindles. Rear is coil spring. Her power comes from a supercharged Tempest 4 cylinder sourced from the Revell Micky Thompson 'Attempt 1 record car' kit. Her colour is Tamiya ts72 clear blue over ts65 pearl clear over ts14 gloss black. Graphics are skulls with some dry brushing for effect using gloss black over ts30 silver leaf then the pearl clear and clear blue. I added Aussie number plates of my home state of New South Wales. This build can be viewed in WIP. Thanks for watching and all feedback is welcomed. Cheers, David. ? ?

Final reveal is here. I've had a few issues with body fitment at the rear fenders and the rear barn doors but otherwise happy with the build. Thanks for watching. Cheers, David. ?? -
G'day Bob, everyone loves the deuce and yours is going to be sweet. I have that kit, which I built fenderless. It's on my rebuild list and thank God I kept the fenders. Your build has inspired me. I'll be watching this one. Cheers,David. ??

Hi guys, just a quick update. Engine is installed with some difficulty lining up the custom exhaust. I also had to reinstate the intake manifold as the air scoop was touching the front fender. I used two bent pieces of sprue cut down to size to clear the fender. Body is painted but I'll keep that for final reveal. -
Yeah, they are expensive. Around us$70 + freight.

Nice valiant, we got this model in Australia in 1962, two years after you guys. We raced them in the touring series. Cheers, David. ??

G'day David. The valiant R series is available as a curbside kit from an Australian business called The Parts Box. The price in the screenshot is in Australian dollars. Cheers, David.

Super clean. The interior colour compliments that stunning body colour. The wheels tie it all together. ??

Excellent build Mario. Those photos look straight out of the movie. Well done. ??

Funny you should say that. My very first kit was a 1/32 Cadillac hearse which had a beatnik surfer theme.
