  1. Deuce Roadster w/ full fenders...
  2. Duvall style Deuce...working on the stance, might be a bit low. 1968 Ford Highland green me thinks.
  3. Perhaps the Glass Slipper may have had some influence over the design of the Double Dragster kit.
  4. Chopped '32 3 window from Ed Fluck...black or maybe maroon.
  5. Yea, there were problems...the rear inner fenders required modifications and the body/interior assembly had to be moved rearward so that the rear inner fenders would properly fit the frame contours...of course the hood and sides were now too short so material had to be added blended in to lengthen the hood assembly and a new radiator support rod had to be fabricated. The model could still be built as is and the rear tires would probably cover the poor rear inner fender fit but I'm a picky SOB and a glutton fer punishment.
  6. Ed Fluck just sent me some goodies...a chopped '32 3 window coupe, chopped '32 5 window coupe, chopped '32 Tudor, and some stock firewalls and a chopped uptop fer the '32 Roadster. Very nice stuff...highly recommended.
  7. I'm not familiar with the model you mention so I'm not sure how practical this suggestion is but perhaps cutting away any clear areas of decal material from the images will work. With the proper setting solutions (compatible with the decals) the decals should stick to the flat finish just fine and without any clear areas...no silvering Fer what it's worth...
  8. Thank you fer yer comment, As I recall the body kit did come with wheel inserts but the MRC chassis I used wuz from their earlier version of the Cooper Cobra with covered rear wheels (series I) so the correct wheels were already there, I just refinished them. Tires are from the Monogram Chaparrel 2.
  9. Would like to have one...kinda surprised nobody does a resin kit in 1/24 or 1/25.
  10. Another one just fer fun, 1/32 scale Monogram series II Cooper Cobra finished with Tamiya paints and misc. decals. The body wuz from Professor Motor and the chassis is an MRC. Slot it deep guide with NSR low Friction braids added.
  11. Just fer fun, 1/32 scale MRC Cheetah refinished with Tamiya paints and Patto decals. Slot it deep guide w/NSR low Friction braids and wider silicone rear tires.
  12. Revell '32 Highboy Roadster, built outta the box. All "chrome" except the air cleaner and grille is Alclad.
  13. ...#86 just showed up at my door.
  14. Replicas and Miniatures of Maryland has an excellent selection of very high quality resin flathead goodies including a beautifully detailed S.C.O.T. blower setup.
  15. Well I have. I'm always tryin to find ways to further idiot-proof my workspace so while playin website roulette on the internet I found these goodies on a website called "Jeff Did It" (also on Amazon and Esty with the same seller name). I'm pretty impressed, the stuff is 3d printed in various colors with rubber feet on the bottom. They have holders fer all kinds of hobby type bottles.
  16. Cady decals were much easier to work with.
  17. Yes,...purple LEDs exist. I believe they are commonly used as grow type lights as they are ultraviolet kinda like a blacklight.
  18. I believe that the Model Car Garage Anglia/Thames photo-etch set #2029 has the type of hinges that yer lookin for.
  19. Yup, Fugimi did get the wheels wrong, but I can live with it.
