  1. I am going to start working on a Fujimi Porsche 356C that I have a had for a few years. I want to add side mouldings to the body and I am planning on using Evergreen strips but questioning what is the best way to apply them? I would assume Super glue? Has anyone had success with applying these as a moulding down the side of a body? The 356 speedsters had the side moulding and it was an option on the 356 B's and C's. Thanks for the help
  2. The kit is a very enjoyable build. Nice job.
  3. Great job. Remember that car well. I built the same car years ago but it was a Meri kit I believe. Much less detail.
  4. Great work. What did you use to duplicate the Sunoco paint?
  5. Anytime you want to sell that AAM 2+2 hardtop just send me an email! LOL!
  6. You may want to try www.grandprixmodels.com. Do a search on their home page. My experience has been they are great to work with.
  7. Looks great. Love the engine.
  8. Shawn Carpenter did mine but I don't think he is doing resin bodies anymore.

    1988 Daytona

Great looking. I was working at a Dodge dealership also and probably had one or two of those as demos.
  10. His castings look like plastic. Beautiful.
  11. Well I am continuing building my Shawn Carpenter resin 1962 Grand Prix conversion on the AMT Catalina kit. I started this kit about two years ago and got frustrated with my paint job, walked away from it and decided about a month ago to go back to the kit. I have worked on the paint and now it looks pretty good. I am finished with the BMF. I have painted it with MCW's original 62 Pontiac Dark Maroon. I should have it wrapped up this next week.
  12. Looking good with the plum crazy paint.
  13. That is the one. I was wondering with the shorter wheelbase if the 65 grandprix interior would be easier to woek with.
  14. I have a correct wheelbase 1965 Pontiac 2+2 convertible body and I was wondering if the 1965 AMT Grand Prix kit has the correct shorter wheelbase as compared to the 1965 2+2 AMT kit. I know the AMT 2+2 is a Bonneville Thanks
  15. I have a couple of the HRM Corvette's. His quality is superb.
  16. Looks great and clean
  17. I will try to get some more pics with my camera this time not my cell phone. Thanks everyone.
  18. I cannot seem to find if Shawn Carpenter is still casting either. His castings were very good. Btw Thanks for the input everyone. This 62 Grand Prix is very nicely done and is a clean conversion for the AMT Catalina.
  19. I enjoy building a 1/43rd kit. The Ferrari looks great
