  1. Lot of work but a stunning 62 Ryan! One of the best (if not the best) I've seen on here. And man, that engine..... Mostly for nostalgia reasons I do like the old AMT, but there's no question if you want an accurate 62 Vette the Revell is the way to go.
  2. Nice pair Carl! Always a bit of a shame about the Edsel grille thing. To me all year models had otherwise appealing lines.
  3. Shame about the decal issues but doesn't detract in any big way. Pretty darn good I reckon!
  4. Nice Roadrunner! Great finish and the white hood striping very impressively done.
  5. That is one beautiful Impala Andrew!
  6. Gorgeous Torino 'Streak'!
  7. Thanks Tim. Yes, airbrush on most things. I resisted buying one for years but there's only so much you can do with rattle-can enamels and paint brushing. BTW, same brown on seats, dash and convertible boot but each oversprayed with various matt and gloss clears to get different finishes. Because of poor availability, high cost and 'corrosion' issues, I stopped using BMF a while back and now get by with kitchen foil (glued on with Elmer's Clear) and Molotow type chrome pen. I didn't have a suitable coloured flock for the carpet so I used fine sieved sand which I hand painted after drying. At best it's ok, but don't look too close!
  8. Thanks Larry. Not a lot of these found their way to Australia, but back in the 70s a friend's dad had a four door of about that vintage you mention. If these things were big to Americans, they were absolute monsters to us Aussies.
  9. Excellent reboot Jason! Looks great.
  10. Thanks Donato! Yes, lots of pillows lining the garage back wall methinks.
  11. Thanks Bob! I'm assuming a 401 (or at least a little plastic AMT version of it).
  12. Turned out real nice Eric! I'll have to get me one of these.
  13. Nice job Eric. I recently built an older ERTL issue of this kit that had the convertible boot. Why Round 2 deleted it is anyone's guess.
  14. Good to see these old kits getting the attention they deserve. They were meant to be built!
  15. Wow and wow again! Even someone with only a passing interest in motorsport should be in awe of such modelling expertise.
  16. Really floors me how you guys produce such quality builds in such a short time frame. 24 hrs into any build and I'm still deciding what colour I'll use!
  17. Amazes me how you guys get such good results in short build times!
  18. Nice work! The colour combo really works well.
  19. I've got a couple of examples of this kit and it comes with a convertible boot so..... The only extras I added were rear wheel covers, sun visors and radiator hose. All the rest comes with the kit.
  20. In spite of your trials, tribulations and punch-the-wall frustrations Bob you ended up with a model that looks pretty darn cool.
  21. Turned out real nice Michael. Very nicely done!
  22. Same car but mine is when it was working undercover. ?
  23. THAT is one nice GTO! Everything about this model works.
  24. Another nice big Ford David. Your tastes in align with mine!
  25. Great build! Always enjoy seeing rare and unusual subjects.
