  1. Brian,not sure where ST got the engine or if he did it himself,,came in a ziplock with his sticker on it really nice!
  2. I got the MP8 today from ST Supply,,,looks fantastic! Comes with a transmission too but mines using the Allison ,probably start building that up Friday...and I'm going to fix the hollow air bags and fill in the frame rail gaps,,,plan on running air lines to the bags,brake chambers ,etc

  8. I'm going to attach the under reach to the back of the body,,,I'm going to start on that this week
  9. More boom pieces assembled,,I will probably prime and paint all this stuff ,,, waiting on the MP8 Mack engine from ST Supply then assemble that and do engine/chassis/cab fitment . Going over the Revell KW frame,,the air bags are molded beautiful on the outside of the frame, ,,insides are hollow, debating whether or not to deal with it ,,I could probably fill with putty and sand or lop it all off and get something aftermarket .

  12. I started assembly of the boom parts so I can figure out some sort of underreach/axle lift

I think she's gonna look good boys,,even if not a correct replica,,,, the back story will be the Admin of FDNY Fleet Services directs the shop to resurrect one of the old wreckers out of the FDNY boneyard and put it on a new Mack Granite chassis so they can keep up with all the new junk breaking down,,,how's that??? lol

  18. Great build Brian! I remember working on some 366 powered C50 -60 trucks,,,with propane conversions!
  19. I built one back in the 90's and gave it to my son,,,great kit !
  20. I'm still going to fab up an axle lift assy and see how that will look on the back,,,sorta like the old Stepp's wrecker was
