We had a 77 LTDII wagon when I first learned to drive, which was a later variation of this platform. There was a Ranchero available in 77 too. Not as nice a front end as this, though.
I've been following this one and you have done a fantastic job of replicating this awesome truck and trailer! You put your heart into this one, John and it shows! Just flat out awesome! I hope it makes it cross-country to your Dad without incident!! Congrats!!

(Get a box of those blue nytril gloves (about $10 for 100 at Home Hardware) for paint and keep it off your hands...might get in the pores of your skin and cause health problems...plus it makes clean up easier! I gotta say I wish I started doing that earlier on! Keep healthy!)
