  1. Oh that 1600 Volkswagen motor I got you tried talking to me out of it to the other one but I figured out what it's going to go in I'm going to build a little VW dragster I remember seeing from England.
  2. Like I said the quality of what you produce is well worth the price that you charge I am happy with your product and there's a couple other motors I am interested in when I can afford it I had to put a $6,000 motor in my truck so all I can do now is drool at your stuff on your app.
  3. I didn't mean it the sound the way you took it I understand on the time the labor and all that stuff I understand that and I do think this is better than an injection mold a hell of a lot better and why I have bought as many motors that I have from you there are others that I do want to get to that you have you do have some pretty nice stuff and I enjoyed the time talking with you you made me understand a lot of other parts of the operation.
  4. Hi I really do like the motor you sent me and along with the others eventually they all will be in something or save it for my 53 Ford pickup I was building as a Bonneville truck from the 50s
  5. Charles's stuff is so nice I couldn't help buying not just one but three and I think there's a couple others I'd like to have too. These are all future motors for future projects special ones Texas3D are nices people the only thing I do not like is the price it's almost as much as the kit but quality makes up for it.
  6. I agree this guy does some really nice work I've gotten three motors and one bellhousing and transmission what I wasn't expecting to see the linkage for the transmission.
  7. Oh I know it's been a long time for this answer but if I do another 60 Corvette I have the motor it
  8. Hey Rick Thank you for the compliment I hope you liked it. I guess you don't know about model Ts the fuel tank is under the seat in a stock car all model Ts have wood floors even under the fuel tank the wood they used was Oak wood it made a good strong wood and was plenty of it at the right price the scrap was given to Charles King who worked for Henry Ford. Mr King developed a process to take the oak and turn it into a charcoal and Charles offered Henry a partnership and Henry turned him down and told him to keep Charles Henry give him permission to use his name and that's where Kingsford charcoal comes in the world every model T sold got a bag Kingsford charcoal. For those Sunday picnics so they can cook a meal. Getting back to your comment about wooden track yes a wooden track with a wooden track you can bank the corners for more speed and cars had to have white tires to so they made no marks on floors with no roll bar or seat belts weeee. I just didn't like the plastic wood from the kit with this build I did have Oak but the grain of the wood not be right I'm using maple wood for scale the grain would be right. You should see the documentary (Where they race) this inspired me to do this car this documentary the one they didn't bring up was the signal Hill climb drag race for 4 bangers early cars a quarter mile hill stock and modified the one I went to they had some guy in a model t center door that couldn't go up forward so he turned around and went up it backwards reverse has more power than forward on hills. Another documentary that I thought was really good was the Ken Burns documentary on Henry Ford that was fantastic it showed what kind of a person Henry Ford was to me it was almost as bad as I better not say but. He had a fantastic education system for his employees that were immigrants from other countries to teach them how to work and be able to have housing working and going to school for Henry Ford if you do some digging of old books you'll sometimes run across old text books from Henry Ford. I grew up in Southern California in fact in the LA county from 50s to 80s in Altadena is magical you found old cars in yards and garages Altadena was the Palm springs of Hollywood in its day now 😢😢😢 I remember seeing forest fires but I've never seen one like this one my town is now gone. If you know the kid enclosed is a photo of the instructions for the stock interior if you look at it you'll find it does have slots.
  9. Oh you asked me who manufactures the Corvette model that was a AMT re-release it's the same one they were leased back in 1960 after I bought it and cracked it open I realized that when I started looking at it I remember the axle going through the motor I think I remarked about it and somebody else remarked to me about it but that's an EMT kit and the color is infernal red that is a Chrysler or a Mopar color.
  10. I really appreciate your help on this! At the time I was searching for hot rods or customs that people are doing in other countries I'm from America I grew up in the beginning of hot rods in America I have seen or read about American car and personally I get bored reading about the same things Time after Time with people post and collecting photos in Google search. Google thinks all I want to see is American hot rods even when I put cars from Sweden that are customs or hot rods they give me American hot rods I finally through digging hours ran across some of these cars. But I like see foreign cars that have been customized or made into hot rods rather than American cars that are in that country the other people have done.
  11. I really like that style of Volvo I just thought they were the same but thank you for the knowledge I have for it so that if I start looking it up again as a reference I'll go right to it maybe.
  12. This is a first for me a kit I was going to make almost stock but modified as a board track racer like you would see in it's day. It seems AMT repackage the old 1925 model t kit this is what I'm using three issue when I was young I made the bucket ts with a big blown motor never a four banger so now I'm going to attempted with this project.
  13. Thank you for the offer but I think I'm going to leave it as it is and use it as a prop for another project I've started on another project.
  14. Hi folks the body turned out beautiful except for the decals. But the car had a accident it's tow truck material now or garage repair material I broke the windshield in half and I didn't assemble the right side of the front suspension correctly in the wheel leans badly like it hit a curb. Talk about bummed so I put it in the box to punish it until I'm ready to shoot a final photograph of it and post it so folks you'll have to wait but it was a beautiful looking car. Thank you for the comments Stanward
  15. Sorry about my misspelling but the concept car that I was talking about they didn't make a kit or somebody did and here is what it looks like
  16. That's awesome I think I bought this kit years ago the TR3. I knew somebody that had a first year TR3. The Anglia worked out great for this build.
  17. I ran cross this question myself on styrene plastic I've tried Evergreen plastics and what glues will work at the time I was working with HO C channel Evergreen plastics I couldn't get anything to really stick of course this was back in 2000 I had a 32 three window I was building and 53 Ford u/p. I think I better check in on this company it's not too far from where I am.
  18. I like what you are doing. Nice story Pegasus hobby I like the airplanes that's coming out of the front of it. I know Joe in the model I remember when they were in Glendora but a little but they have it one of the times.
  19. Now that all the bright work is done. Now I can put the windows in it step 28 also done.
  20. What are the dimensions are you working on. I have a space problem and storage problem to.
  21. Now this looks like fun as a build ?????
  22. What was the dimensions of your diorama just out of curiosity. I really enjoyed looking at it.
  23. I couldn't find the photo
  24. It's a Morris Minor coupe ?? and he was right the one before was nice I just couldn't find the photo ?
  25. So you like the the megaphone exhaust system let me tell you I was about I was a little kid in 57 a friend of my dad's gave me a magazine sports car in that magazine there was a photograph of a car going around the corner in a road race they mentioned all the other cars except for one the car with the megaphone for years I wondered what it was and I have to thank Stacey Davis and Dennis Gage for making it possible for me to know the car Jay Leno has one it's ouglier than hell.Look up the lane museum the car is Tatra 603 this is a very interesting company it's out of Czechoslovakia in fact Jay Leno had this guy on a show and Jay was really interested in this Tatra he flew out to this guy's museum just to see the car which Jay didn't realize the guy shows up at the airport in the car so Jay gets a ride by the time he left and on the plane he told his people to find one. What's going to blow your mind is the engine the Tatra 600 that Jay got had 85 hp I can't remember when the last car was produced but they managed out of the same motor get 302hp this is real interesting reading this company not only do they build cars but they built commercial trucks too so look up this company but on YouTube I will give you something to put down to watch. 7 Best Vehicles Made By Tatra the orange car is the one with the exhaust. In Czech they are putting these motors in Moto guzzi motorcycles I wonder when Jay will do that at the watering hole he could brag about that and then BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH. Kanye West has a video called runaway in that video they have one of the last I believe it was called a MDX there was only four of them built before the tragic incident happened but I'm not going to tell you all about the company you're going to have to read about it yourself and it's going to blow your mind.
