  1. Lets start another build Had this kit laying around so thought i'd give it a go. This was one of my very first car kits i ever tried to build when it first came out (but gave up). So this is somewhat of a redemption build for myself. The challenge with this kit is that its bent pretty badly. So lets see if i'm able to get all 4 wheels to the ground 😁 Thanks for following!
  2. Hi! My last two Lamborghini builds went quite well. So, decided to pick up another one and torture myself a bit with a harder kit. This time, the legendary Aventador Roadster. A really cool looking Lambo. I have some ideas i would like to try, but we'll see. Won't do anything crazy like paint it in pink or neon green. Will stay true to the real ones. Kit itself seems good. My first Aoshima kit. Looks definitely more challenging than the Revell kits - not so sure about my skill level so let's see if i can even finish this one So I will probably take my time with it and will probably take up some easier Revell kit too. Theres another monster in my stash still waiting for me to give it a go. Won't touch it yet, but if i'm able to finist both of these - i won't consider myself as a beginner anymore 😎 But enough talking - time to get busy!
  3. Hi! Havent really done any yellow cars before So this is my first one - the '03 Lambo Gallardo And a family picture with its bigger sister
  4. And here we go Got the body clearcoated Also got the interior together And some work on the lights and windows Had my fair share of trouble trying to get the underside on And finally got it together Nice and easy quick build. See you at my other threads!
  5. Did some sanding Then some priming And some more And finally, some painting
  6. Did some painting
  7. Thank you guys 😃
  8. Supercars are so cool! Time to take up another Lambo This time the Murcielago's younger brother, the Gallardo. Won't try anything crazy - just a cool classical look. So lets see how this one goes
  9. Who havent dreamt of owning a supercar as a kid? I know i have! One of my all time favourites are Lamborghinis. So, heres my Lamborghini 😁 Just like i've always wanted. Parked next to my Ferrari 288 GTO 🙃 Okay, enough joking 😁 Kit is an older Fujimi's. Great kit - had some trouble with decals, but nothing major. Came out pretty nice!
  10. Aaaaand its ready to drive into the sunset 😁
  11. Did some more work Engine bay is pretty much done - some decals left to do
  12. I have the rapidbike adapting fueling module installed on mine - helps out a lot. Anyway, the body is clearcoated Came out pretty nice. Would've liked it to be a bit more orange, but i really like it this way too.
  13. Best looking exhaust ever on the VFR - the OEM one! (dont hate me)
  14. Spring is here! Finally can enjoy some nice sunny weather and my other hobby This doesn't mean that i'm taking a break from models Did some more work on the Murcielago
  15. Thank you guys!
  16. Got this one done! 😁 Had my fare share of trouble. Did some mistakes here and there that i can definitely improve. But came out good enough
  17. Done! 😁
  18. Yay! Airbrush is fixed again 😁 Body and trim is painted. Decals are done. Only needs clearcoat now
  19. Yay! My airbrush is knackered 😁 This was probably why it wasnt spraying properly before. So i ordered a new nozzle and needle so all should be good when it arrives. But until then, airbrushing will be on hold. Its actually not hopless - the flared out nozzle actually works pretty good with thicker paints. So i might use it for primer and clearcoats while it works. So, did some more painting. The body got another coat of black primer Then it was the metallic gold again following the transparent red. Goddamn, it glitters really awesomely under the sunlight 😎
  20. Interior is done 😁 well, almost
  21. So, first the bad news......... Noticed that the area just below the windscreen is supposed to be black. Somehow i thought the windshield itself will cover it and left it unpainted. So i taped the area and decided to paint it black. This was at the time i was having some issues with my airbrush. So, the end result came out badly - the paint itself was really grainy and uneven. Also noticed that the clear coat dry At the time, i couldnt figure out why (later found out it was duy to some paint in my airvalve and nozzle). When i took the tape off, i nicked the clear a bit too. To say i was bummed out is an understatement...... After some digging around, taking it apart, cleaning etc, i got my airbrush to spray nicely again. It had wrecked the paintjob of two of my models already so didnt want to pick it up for awhile. But decided not to give up - so i'm going to do the paintjob again. Got another kit for decals and started again. This time, with a properly working airbrush. So, stripped the paint, sanded it again and reprimed it. Feeling pretty good
  22. The engine bay lacks details so i have to improvise a bit. Played around with the carbod decals a bit. Will have to search my parts box - maybe i can add some more stuff to it. Also did the first coat of paint - this time, came out nice and smooth And did some test fitting of the interior tub. Looks pretty cool already
  23. "Not today, buddy"
  24. Seems like a nice solid kit. A bit lacking in details on the engine side, but the body looks so nice. Finally got a new brush - the tamiya's modeling Pro II. So had to try it out on the interior 😁
  25. Yup, the very same one from gravity colors. Theres two versions of it - the older one had a pearl silver with clear orange and newer one had pearl gold with clear red.
