I made some updates to the "Bat outta Hell"l van that I think made a big difference in the realism.
posable steering, this by far is the biggest improvement. I'm going to try to incorporate this on most future builds. I followed a how to thread and it came out great. In fact in the design studio when we review prototypes we almost always turn the front wheels.
antenna from thin wire.
scratch built a skid plate from sheet styrene.
added driving lamps from Tamiya rally car.
adjusted and repainted front bull bar.
repainted hood and used YBK chrome paint for the lettering.
added emergency brake lines and fuel lines underneath.
added an auxiliary fuel tank with metal straps.
I wished I had done these things the first time but I tend to rush my builds. Lessons learned.
