  1. Great job on the roadster! I saw front engined roadsters on the track during qualifying back in the day, you captured it perfectly.
  2. Thanks for all the kind comments. Tulio, the grille and horn covers do have a black wash, doesn't show up in the pics very well. I debated about the trim rings, I think I will dig them out and add them as you suggest. It's the AMT kit. The hardtop is separate from the body and had to have the seam filled in.
  3. Thanks for sharing this Richard! I just watched all the way through, what a great day that must have been. No "trailer queens" in that bunch. The skills competitions, the fire rescue, unusual bicycles, I really liked the race cars around the 14:30 mark. Those guys had some stones! I could not identify most of them but I'll bet my dad could.
  4. I really enjoyed this kit, went together very well. Some areas are simplified but I think it presents well. Comments welcome, thanks for looking!
  5. Now that's a real tractor! Outstanding model, thanks for sharing.
  6. Great model, very realistic patina on the paint, a real workhorse!
  7. Very tasteful clean build. Well done!
  8. Great group of rods, well deserving all the accolades!
  9. I agree! They are meant to be driven enthusiastically, not entombed in some climate controlled garage.
  10. I've thought about doing this with one of the older kits I have that can't be given away any more. Pretty neat static display. I hadn't thought about the bracing around the gas filler.
  11. Wow! Thanks for sharing.
  12. X2, great looking model.
  13. That is awesome! Great patina, love the 6-banger. Was this modeled after a real Junior car?
  14. You are probably right, they want you to wear the pads down to the rivets so you score the rotors, more $$ for them. You do good work BTW!

Nice clean work. Love the colors.
  16. Great work as we've come to expect from you Tulio! Love the Merc grille on the turquoise one.
  17. Great model! The windshield tear-off tab is a nice touch.
  18. Definitely worth another look! Great model.
  19. That's a beauty! I really like this kit.
  20. Outstanding work, the weathering is spot-on. Thanks for sharing!
  21. Great build, I especially like the driver's door and the big dent just behind it.
  22. Not an easy kit by any means, plus miles of foil. Well done!
  23. Challenge is an understatement, I thought Cup cars were hard! Great work.
  24. Agreed! Got any "before" pics?
  25. Don't see many of these built, nice work.
