Shipping charges for ebay sales

The buyer knows ahead of time what the shipping charge is, if they feel it's too much then they shouldn't bid! I think $8 is quite reasonable. Some sellers start with a ridiculous low starting price but then want $15-25 for shipping, I will not buy from them on principle alone. -

It's the same things that attract your attention to a real car. A well done coat of paint makes your car (or house for that matter) more appealing.

Great find! I've been looking for years for an unmolested kit in my price range (cheap ). I've picked up a couple of glue bombs to refurbish instead. I saw the real thing on the track in 1967 during time trials. It was so eerie, all you could hear were the tires on the pavement (which are surprisingly loud BTW).
