  1. Great rendition of an icon. Well done.
  2. This has all the custom touches, love the peaked headlights. I don't think I've ever seen such realistic exhaust hangers!

    1928 pickup

Great work on that engine, could pass for 1:1. Nicely done.
  4. I'll echo what everyone else has commented, fine work!
  5. Cool! I love it when we recreate cars from our past.
  6. Nice clean build, great color. Well done!
  7. Interesting take on the perennial A100, nice work.
  8. Wow! Outstanding model.
  9. Neat! Great weathering job on the trailer.
  10. Really nice work on them both!
  11. Very well done. Believable weathering job, with the right backround it would pass for 1:1.
  12. First of the Flintstone body I've seen built, looks great!
  13. Nicely done, thanks for posting!
  14. Thanks for clearing that up Dave. I must have the MPC clone, 1 piece chassis - tub interior. Says AMT/ERTL on one of the sprues.
  15. Beautiful paint and decaling, nice detailing under the hood, great model! We don't see enough of these type cars, keep them coming!

They don't get much better than this, well done.
  17. X2! I really like this a lot.
  18. The best advice I can offer when doing a NASCAR is take your time with the decals. The correct suspension and all are nice, but when it's on the shelf what you see is the body. They are moving billboards after all ! I've done dozens of both the Monogram and AMT kits, which is what got me back to building in the '90s. Start with good decals, either kit or aftermarket, and familiarize yourself with using some type of setting solution. Search the tips forum for topics on decaling, it's every bit as difficult as laying down a good paint job. It takes practice like anything else, I've got a box full of less than stellar builds to prove it.
  19. You had a prolific year for sure, all of them nicely done! I'm partial to the Oldsmobiles
  20. Nice! Junie Donlevy is a name from the past!
  21. Nicely done John. Silver is hard to pull off.
  22. Most motorcycle kits are 1/12 or 1/9 scale. They are roughly 5-6" tall. I think the bigger scales allow a lot more detail and better looking wheels. Spoked wheels in 1/25 are not very realistic unless you make them yourself.(something I have not tried but will on some unspecified future project )
  23. I agree with all of the above, great model!
