  1. Isn't it funny how many shades of black there are when you really look closely? The same can be said for white, although probably not quite as many.
  2. Love seeing F1 cars on here, well done.
  3. Well done, welcome to the forum. Looking forward to more builds from your bench!
  4. Well done, great color!
  5. Outstanding! Those wheels come pre-assembled? Very nicely done.
  6. Well said! Not a lot of action in a fuel mileage race, but he got there first. When Bell and Hunter-Reay (sp?) got together in the pits, that changed the complexion of the entire race. It certainly had more drama than the 600 that followed!
  7. Looks good, that's not a shake & bake kit by any means.
  8. If your friend is just coming back into the hobby, I would recommend any of the Monogram 1/24 kits. Lower parts count, easy to build, good representations for the shelf. Many "muscle" subjects to choose from.
  9. Great longroof. Those rims look right at home.
  10. Love your builds, Tulio. This one is even more impressive (if that's possible) than your showroom cars. Well done!

    71 Comet

That's cool! Nice work on a seldom seen subject.
  12. Wow Jon, one end of the spectrum to the other ! Interesting topic, most seem to gravitate towards cars they owned or wished they still had, that emotional connection we gearheads have towards our vehicles. In that vein, the car I learned to drive in, '64 Grand Prix, and a '65 Dodge van - the kind where you sit over the front wheel and the steering wheel is almost flat in front of you like a bus. Man I had fun in that thing!
  13. It goes the other way as well. ICM, Tamiya, Meng kits for example cost $40-50 over here. Shipping 1/2 way around the world doesn't come cheaply.
  14. Hot rodding at it's finest, big motor in light car, go fast! Great concept, well executed.
  15. X2, very well done.
  16. Nice work converting back to stock, well done!
  17. I'm not much of a hot rod guy but that looks darn good! Very convincing finish on the body.
  18. Wow, that's a beauty! Well done.
  19. That's a beauty John. Did you paint the red or is that decals? Well done!
  20. That's a beauty, real nice work.
  21. Very convincing, and great photos!

    Chevrolet SSR

    Nice work.
  23. That is sharp, nice job.
  24. Smooth paint, clean foil work, great model!
  25. Great detailing under the hood and trunk lid. I don't think I've ever seen anyone add the tethers before. Sr's black cars are tough, this one looks good.
