  1. I built the U.S.S. Constitution way back when I got out of the service and was going to school, don't remember who made it or what scale, I think it was Revell? Only that it had 17 different sizes of string rigging and roughly 8,000 tiny little belaying pins for you to tie all those ropes onto. Vacu-formed sails, a bunch of tiny little cannons, it took me about 3 years to finish and then it collected dust like a magnet. Never did another boat, never will!
  2. Revell Mickey Thompson Challenger LSR car. It finally won
  3. The engine detailing is fantastic, great model!
  4. Wow, great pair of cars! That Daytona would pass for 1:1 with the right backround.
  5. I like it, warts and all. I have several similar examples in my collection
  6. I'm in. Good luck with those chains. How do the wire wheels look?
  7. Can't go wrong with an Impala. Great model!
  8. Nice. Really like the garage dio too.
  9. Following with interest.
  10. Looking great Jonathan! Are you putting the decals over flat or matte paint?
  11. Amazing! My dad's first car was a '49 that didn't look all that different (so I'm told!).
  12. Dann, yes it's the MPC kit. Came in the "Hall of Fame" trio with a Watson roadster and Jim Clark's Lotus. Not sure if they ever boxed it separately, I got this one off eBay without a box pretty reasonable.
  13. Did that interior come with the kit or? Nice paint, engine looks great.
  14. Very well done pair. I love the paint work.
  15. I like it, striking paint scheme.
  16. You're absolutely right Tony, I've edited the title. This car models the one Johnny Rutherford drove to victory in 1974. I've got those 2 as well, someday . After the fight I had with this one it might be awhile.
  17. Really nice, love the paint.
  18. That does it, I gotta have at least one of these! Great start, keep it going.
  19. This one finally got completed the other night, it's been on (or under) the bench for a very long time. It was fiddly to build without a lot of locating points to help. I had to fudge the wheels quite a bit to get all 4 to sit on the ground. Anyway, here it is. Comments welcome as always, thanks for looking.
  20. Great to see some well done sports cars on here. Keep them coming.
  21. Brush painted?! Outstanding.
  22. Doug, you are on the bleeding edge of this new technology and i look forward to seeing your comments on these topics. Keep it coming!
  23. Great model! I really love this kit.
  24. I like it! Don't see these done very often.
