  1. Love it! We need more brass here.
  2. Great colors on both, well done. Very good photography too!
  3. Very effective technique. Thanks for sharing your process.
  4. Neat, clean work. Could mistake for 1:1 with the right background.
  5. Very nice! Love the color.
  6. Very convincing weathering! The bullet holes on the driver's side are a little scary!?
  7. Many thanks for all the comments, I really enjoyed this build.
  8. This is the Revell new tool kit, sorry for the confusion.
  9. Its rumored that Enzo Ferrari called it "the most beautiful car ever built" upon its introduction in 1961. I always liked the lines of the roadster better than the coupe, the roofline on the coupe looks 'off' to me for some reason. Maybe because I've recently completed a couple of Heller kits I especially enjoyed this kit, the engineering and parts count were outstanding. Mold lines were faint and easy to clean up and the parts attachments, especially the chrome parts, were designed to be well hidden on the finished car. Everything fit without massaging. It included an extensive decal sheet with all the underhood and interior markings you could want. I didn't use them all, some were extremely tiny. This kit, and I imagine the sister coupe, easily rival Tamiya for accuracy and ease of construction IMHO. Comments always welcome and thanks for looking.
  10. Beautiful land yacht! Love the color, great work.
  11. Cool car! I always thought they looked very much like a Bugatti. Nice work.
  12. Beautiful paint and finishing work, well done!
  13. Another beauty from your bench, great work!
  14. Pretty much any car looks good in black but it's hard to pull off, prep work must be perfect. I say go for it!
  15. LOL, I see the same thing in my future!
  16. Love these built stock, great colors!
  17. I would prime it with light gray first, take care of any mold lines and such, then the white.
  18. That looks great! I didn't realize they were so short.
  19. Is there a similar situation with enamel? I've had issues with blushing and additional coats don't help.
  20. Very nice work! The weathering is spot-on.
  21. I must be getting better, this Heller kit did not give me as much heartburn as previous builds. Still vague instructions, no locating aids but I like how it turned out. The decals were shot and included several period Goodyear logos but the kit tires are Firestones! Happy to have it completed, on to the next one. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.
  22. Nice! How are those Protar kits to build?
