    49 Ford...

Wow, that is cool! Nice work. My dad's first car was a '49 and he swore off (and at) Fords forever after! Welcome back to the hobby, hope to see some more.
  2. What, no history lesson on Merc woodies? Nice to know you can walk-the-walk as well, great looking piece!
  3. Real nice job! Black is so difficult to pull off, you did great.
  4. Great model! So much more appealing than today's motorized eggs on the highway
  5. Beautiful model, excellent paint and foil work. I love it!
  6. I like it! Great job.
  7. Nice! That color scheme is eye-catching.

    1940 Ford

Welcome to the "stock" side Jim. That's a great looking '40 from a not-so-great kit. Nice work!
  9. The ultimate for narcissists. Like Rob said, no one wants to see a mini-me!
  10. Coffee table in front of the tube in the evenings! Got a glass cutting board I use to move it out of the way at other times.
  11. Nice! A true "ground pounder". Love those wheels.
  12. I saw the real one in person at the local camera store as a promotion back in the day. Nice job, I always liked that paint scheme.
  13. Nice work. One of my favorite drivers, he did well in that car.
  14. Nice clean build. I like it!
  15. You had me at Impala, nice work.
  16. Great job, looks good in white!
  17. Wow! Another great model. Well done.
  18. Great model. These year Mopars are just over the top stylewise, you're sure doing them justice.
  19. Great work, and back story. I always like the builds that replicate a real car from someone's past.
  20. Outstanding model! Thanks for sharing and looking forward to the others you mentioned.
  21. Looks even better outdoors, great model!
  22. Great link Greg! Most are really cool, some are OMG what were they thinking?! The car culture is alive and well.
  23. Slapping them together is fine if that's what you like to do. It's a hobby and supposed to be fun/relaxing. But then don't get your nose out of joint because you don't win a contest against someone who put countless hours and tons of detail into their build! It takes all kinds I guess
  24. Cool find, maybe. Holy grail, i don't think so. Firebirds were a derivative of the Camaro which were hastily assembled by Chevy to combat the Mustang (3 years later)! Most consider them "pony cars".
  25. Outstanding model as usual Jurgen. I really look forward to seeing your builds. Thanks for sharing.
