I too like the build aspect. Once they're done they go in the big case (if they're good enough), or on a shelf if not so great and I forget about them.

Some very good points here. In the dark ages it was mostly kids who started with cars and we're still building some of those same tools today (Johan?). The latest offerings are light years ahead and yet still affordable. I like the revival I'm seeing in the hobby and I think it's guys (and gals) like us that are driving improvements in the quality of todays kits. It doesn't come overnight, a market like this moves slowly but surely towards what we want/will buy. Maybe we are cheapskates, but I for one can't afford or justify dropping $100 on a single kit no matter how great it is.

I did that, it was the door handle moldings that didn't want to lay down. There's a couple of wrinkles that don't show in the photos. 40 years ago sure seems like a long time

I'm no expert by any means, but you need to upload your pics to a hosting site like Photobucket or Fotki. Then you "post" a new topic on the forum and add pics to it. There are threads on here that explain it in much greater detail. Welcome, and let's see your NASCARS!
