  1. What great customer service! My Hudson is on it's way and I appreciate you taking the time to point out the mistake and make it available here. I already have the '53 Hornet, and if the Flock kit is as good Moebius will have me hooked for life. Can't wait for the '55 Chrysler. Oh, and merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all
  2. I too like the build aspect. Once they're done they go in the big case (if they're good enough), or on a shelf if not so great and I forget about them.

    60 Bel Air

Sweet! I bet dad-in-law will love it! Nice conversion.
  4. Excellent job! I love these '70's barges. Great interior work.
  5. Some very good points here. In the dark ages it was mostly kids who started with cars and we're still building some of those same tools today (Johan?). The latest offerings are light years ahead and yet still affordable. I like the revival I'm seeing in the hobby and I think it's guys (and gals) like us that are driving improvements in the quality of todays kits. It doesn't come overnight, a market like this moves slowly but surely towards what we want/will buy. Maybe we are cheapskates, but I for one can't afford or justify dropping $100 on a single kit no matter how great it is.
  6. Front row Joe! I wish he had gotten a better shot in the 'cup', he could wheel a car. Very nice rendition.
  7. Very nice clean build of a paint scheme I don't remember! Welcome to the site, you'll find some fantastic builders on here. The Old Coyote will approve! Great to see another NASCAR fan join the group.
  8. This is going great Mark. I agree, forget the engine. Cup cars are all about the body anyway.
  9. Another beautiful build O.C. Do you have access to SpeedTV? They are airing a series on this year's HOF inductees, and the one on Dale Inman has Terry talking about the title run (1984?) with some cool old clips.
  10. SouthernMotorsportsHobbies says they're in now. Nothing anywhere else I've seen?
  11. Nice looking car, always liked that color scheme even if green is 'bad luck'.
  12. I haven't graduated to figures yet, have a hard enough time with painted metal!
  13. They do all look great. I'm partial to the Wildcat.
  14. Those are cool! Love the Firebird and the 'Judge". You had a good year.
  15. Very nice work. I've got that kit but didn't build the Ford because it was such a turkey, the old Lindberg mold? You did a great job, love the vent windows!
  16. Excellent, love the driver. Very nice job, makes mine look a little weak.
  17. I like the '40 Ford shop truck. Nice weathering. You have some interesting ideas for paint schemes!
  18. I did that, it was the door handle moldings that didn't want to lay down. There's a couple of wrinkles that don't show in the photos. 40 years ago sure seems like a long time
  19. I'll go out on a limb and guess it's a TL car
  20. Another beautiful build John. How do you crank them out? Are those kit decals on the tires or...?
  21. Thanks for the correction, Ed. It was a long time ago !
  22. I'm no expert by any means, but you need to upload your pics to a hosting site like Photobucket or Fotki. Then you "post" a new topic on the forum and add pics to it. There are threads on here that explain it in much greater detail. Welcome, and let's see your NASCARS!
