  1. I'd be in for Fireball and Jim Reed!
  2. Just whatever I had lying around. Brightest red I had on hand, probably some hardware store brand.
  3. Nice. Sometimes you get something other than what you want, and it turns out better. Engine looks very realistic. Looks like the old ZZ Top Eliminator.
  4. That's very cool, nice job of bringing it back to stock. I've always liked the newer Caddies.
  5. Clean, sharp build! Wouldn't want to see it roll up in the mirror
  6. Very cool! Nice job on the bed. Is that a resin cab or...?
  7. I haven't posted anything for a while, so I thought I'd put this up. Built a couple of years ago, the Monogram double T-bird kit. Fords were at a definite disadvantage with the flying brick body and little if any factory support. Thanks for looking, comments welcome.
  8. Nice kustom. Especially the dash detail
  9. George Carlin said the Japanese have already invented "everything", they just dole it out to us in small increments that we can afford. Once everyone had a Walkman, they went to CD. Once we all had CD's, DVD's. Now ipods. I think I see where this is headed?
  10. Love to see these classics! Very nice job.
  11. Very nice. And great photos too. Love the subtle weathering underneath. Can't wait to see what you can do once you're back in the swing
  12. What I get from this thread is that there are a lot of young people on this forum that buy and build. I think that's great and good news for the future of the hobby.
  13. Looks good, like many on the street back in the day. Nice color.
  14. I'm afraid the days of stylish personal transportation are numbered, if not already gone. Driving down the road these days you can't tell what they are unless you see a badge on the nose. Jellybean-shaped transport pods that you need a 2nd mortgage to purchase. This'll put a stake in the Chevelle nameplate for sure.
  15. I usually have a hard time taking myself seriously, must have been my upgbringing. I appreciate the knowledge you bring to the forum, especially on vintage NASCAR. Must be a Petty fan (and who isn't)?
  16. Nice save, the wheels/tires are especially nice. Davey was always a favorite.
  17. Nice ride. I love the fact that it's got a 6-banger, just right for cruising low & slow.
  18. I apologize! I meant if I'D read the thread title.
  19. That would be a sweet build! Decals look pretty generic, ought to be fairly easy to find.
  20. There's a convertible coming?
  21. Wow! Nobody will miss this one at the starting line. Very nice job.
  22. That is sweet! Very clean foiling job and just the right texture on the top. I'm going to have to give this polishing thing a try. What's your method?
  23. Those are great, they will help tremendously. I wondered about the holes in the bellhousing, must have been to ventilate the clutch? Thanks so much!
  24. Simply amazing. Great job on all. I especially like the F1 Lotus, the Chevy big cab, and the yellow Stutz (I think).
