  1. Sweet build! The color is perfect for the era. Looking forward to more.
  2. Great looking car! Mopars from that era are so ugly they're beautiful.
  3. That gold really pops! I like Valspar paints, they're inexpensive and go down well. Eager to see where this goes.
  4. We all try to put a little of ourselves in each build, but that's going above and beyond Great work so far!
  5. I agree, very nice clean job. Just shows you don't need anything but paint and patience to turn out an excellent replica. Look forward to seeing it finished.
  6. No matter, great looking cars Dan! Welcome, we need more NASCAR buffs on here
  7. 50's to 70's factory stocks since that's the era I grew up in and remember fondly. NASCARs got me back into the hobby in the 90's and lately I'm on a kick of 60-70's stock cars.
  8. Keep 'em coming Kirk! NASCAR doesn't get as much love here as some others, but it's a great site all the same.
  9. Great start. One of my favorites also. I don't usually like the big hoops on a 50's car, but these and the stance are killer!
  10. Very nice. Great period colors.

    59 caddy

Sweet! Love the color, great job on the foiling. You can't go wrong with a 50's Caddy.
  12. Sweet build Chuck. I like it a lot.
  13. There's a lift like that in the Fujimi 'Garage & Tools' set in 1/24 scale. I doubt that it functions but with a little ingenuity....? (It's not shown on the box but it's in there)
  14. Way cool. Since the Hudson came out and the announced '50 Olds and '57 Ford from Revell, I'm sensing a big interest in 50's stockers. Great job Curt.
  15. Textbook 50's color. Great build.
  16. Nice and clean. Great builds John. I especially like the Jeff Purvis and Dick Trickle cars, blasts from the past.
  17. Excellent job! Very clean build of what looks to be a difficult scheme. Black is hard, I don't care who you are. Nice!
  18. I don't think they're ecoboost, but they have stepped up to '80's throttle body fuel injection
  19. Wow. I've never attempted casting anything, looks like you're doing very well for a beginner. Great start on the Petty builds, looking forward to their progress.
  20. I would think it would be fairly easy for AMT to tool just a new body to fit the existing COT chassis. You're right the aftermarket has slowed but there are still folks out there like Dave Van doing decals.
  21. Ditto on the color. So what's stalled, looks done to me? Nice job.
  22. They measure up just fine. Nice mix of subjects, all well done.
  23. Bad Motor. Like that's it's only problem? Great weathering, I'm in awe of your rusting skills. Next stop, boneyard.
  24. This is very cool. The trailer is a diorama all on it's own! I keep going back to look and finding more stuff.
  25. That is sweet! Great job.
