  1. Very nice job, love the mods.
  2. Just enough to make it look like a daily driver, but not Dr. Cranky-ised! Nice job.
  3. Finish with a bang, leave them wanting more! Great job.
  4. Dr. Cranky will love this. Great job.
  5. Duh, if I'd read the thread title!

    57 Chevy

Another for the engine bay, great work! Hubcaps on a race car?
  7. Very nice build. I too liked the show, so of course it's gone. Gotta love it when the hero drives a muscle car! (Nash Bridges?)
  8. Forgive my ignorance, but couldn't you build the Lawman with the Color Me Gone kit and some aftermarket decals?
  9. Nice, Mark! I don't remember ever seeing the purple car. And I love the Tommy Ellis car! Ricky Craven used to race occasionally up here at 'Thunder Road' in the '80's (1/4 mile bullring in Barre, VT co-owned by Ken Squier). He and Randy Lajoie, as well as Chuck Bown were some of the guys we used to watch on Thursday nights that moved up the ladder.
  10. Just put it away and start something else. Sooner or later that bug will bite again and you'll be ready to do it justice.
  11. Got mine today. Looks like it'll be a busy January
  12. You had a good year. Love the Jeep w/plow and the old Chevy PU with the trailer. Scratchbuilt?
  13. "Meaning no offense here, but there are model car kit builders, and then there are car modelers, if you get my drift--not trying to be insulting, but some things get compromised for cost reasons, and it's costs that drive the price you pay at the cash register, always has been, likely always will be." I'm a 'kit builder' and I make no apologies. I marvel at the artists I see on here creating detailed replicas, but I still don't have the time or patience (even after all these years!). We get what we pay for in nearly every facet of life, our hobbies/crafts are no different.
  14. Good call Chuck. I couldn't remember if the '62 still had the X-frame. When did Chevy go to the perimeter?
  15. I'm no expert but I would think the Bel Air would be pretty close. I would do some measuring to see if the wheelbases line up?
  16. I don't do many open-wheel cars, but finished this one this year. Monogram kit I think. It was a bear but came out OK. Thanks for looking!
  17. I always vote for stock, but that's just me. Like the blue, the green is..um.. different?
  18. The best gifts are made, not bought. Great job!
  19. Very nice. Clean foil work, love the wheel/tire combo. '67 may be the sharpest of the Impala's IMO.
  20. I'm blown away. Great job. Where did you get the lawn tractor?
  21. Are they all this year's builds? I'd have trouble getting 2 that nice off the bench! Great collection, thanks for sharing.
  22. Wow, good question. Finished maybe 10, bought 15 or so. Not as bad as year's past but the collection is still growing.
  23. That Kaiser is awesome, as well as the Buick and the Delahaye. Sweet pics.
  24. And how many other drivers have had that many rides? Terry and Bobby both are class acts.
  25. Look at the 'New Kit Reviews' section. Dave Metzner posted what happened and how you can get the other sheet. Simple mistake at the factory.
