One great thing we just found out about my bike, if I take the handlebars completely off, and the spare tire out, it’ll fit in the trunk of the Highway Star so I can take it to a car show. This Thursday night at A&W the bike’ll be there also.

That does sound reasonably easy to do; I’ll have to see what happens though, as I would like to see if maybe a professional can do it, but if no one around town can do it, then we might try what you said. I’m just mildly intimidated by the whole idea, don’t want to accidentally screw it up; however that is how you learn, by trial an error, but I’ve waited so long and the bike restoration fought us literally every step of the way to get it to what it looks like now, so just having someone who knows just exactly what to do would be more reassuring.
