  1. Appreciate that! In hindsight I should have put a straight axle in the front end.
  2. This is the Monogram 64 GTO. Aside from a suspension adjustment and some parts box wheels and tires this was built straight from the box. Everything fit well and was a pleasure to build
  3. Excellent job!!! That kit was my very first attempt at model building back in the mid 60's. It was such an unmitigated disaster "glue & paint everywhere" that I swore off the hobby!
  4. This is the AMT Ohio George kit. Built straight from the box. Everything went together well except for the wheelie bars. Those took some work. One coat of Tamiya spray & one coat of Tamiya clear gloss. Long live Gassers!!!
  5. Super clean machine!! Well done!
  6. Stock chrome! Have not used the spray....yet!
  7. Love the Fast Eddie car!!! Awesome job!
  8. Awesome build!!! Love how you left the body as stock as possible slung real low over that tube chassis!
  9. This was built from the AMT 1963 Corvette kit. I have built this kit on a couple of occasions my. Not much detail in the kit but the body is solid and it's got nice wheels and engine options.
  10. Just finished a consignment build on a 69 Sox & Martin super stock. Had to purchase a used 69 Barracuda kit for the body and a used 70 Sox & Martin pro stock kit for the In keystone wheels. Having a leftover 70 body I decided to make a Motown Missile car. The Missile car was a 72 body with a 16 plug hemi but what the heck... The key to that car was the wheels. I pilfered them from the Big John Maz 41 Willy's kit.
  11. Thanks so much for the kind words!
  12. Thank you sooo much for your reply! It's an honor to hear from you. I grew up down the road from OCIR. My first race was watching a match race between Gas Rhonda & Dee Keaton's Cougar. I was caught, hook, line & sinker. Big fan of your Fiat!!! Got some more diggers on the way.
  13. Lowered, narrowed rear, parts box wheels and a decades old can of rusted Testers paint.
  14. She's a clean machine!!! Beautiful paint, awesome attitude and not a trip five Chevy! Wel done!
  15. Probably my favorite race car of all time and I'm a Chevy guy! This was a Japanese kit and as all my experience with Japanese kits was pure pleasure. I love making vintage drag stuff but American kits suck! I love Tamiya stuff. The fit and finish are always precise with zero flash which is pretty much the opposite of the American brands. Which is a shame because I LOVE our drag racing heritage!
  16. Just wanted to put my own twist on this build. Lowered the chassis a bit which in turn made the hood not close all the way but.... the car sat a little to high for my taste so I made the sacrifice.
  17. Love the stance!!!
  18. Originally built this as a Fearless Fred 69 Roadrunner Funny with resin body. After finishing the build I accidentally dropped the body on my carpet and the window pillars blew off! I disassembled the car, stripped the paint off the chassis, repainted it black and painted up the original Charger body with a can of paint I had saved for years.
  19. Built this one from the Wild Willy kit but was inspired by the Nanook car. Good kit, easy build and lots of room for creativity. Have 2 more for a Fiat and....
