  1. Thanks J They are the reissue dodge lancer hubcaps from Modelhaus. Sadly you may not be able to get them from there for a long time as they have shut down their web site last I checked till further notice as they are swamped with orders. May find a set on ebay or a local model show.
  2. Thanks everybody! Carrucha here ya go. This was a mock up... I decided to go a bit different with the seats. Tired of red and black.
  3. Just finished this last night. I call it "Mack The Knife". Based on Revell's '57 Chevy Ragtop and inspired by a real one I had seen at Lead East a couple of years ago. Very fun kit to build. It is Tamiya White with red black and white interior. The top is krylons flat white. the caps are from Modelhaus and the spots are parts box finds.
  4. Wow! That's sharp! Someday I hope to build one of these. Cool body style.
  5. Thanks everyone! Stan, I will try to take more photo's this week sometime. Been busy as....
  6. Finally got this done in time for NNL East this year. Up till that point it sat in a box 3/4's of the way finished. I had a real hard time with the fit of the windshield. After many attemps I gave up, till one night when I was in a mood, I said to myself, self lets do this! Surprisingly In my 1st attempt proved to be the right move. I finished the car the next day. It is basically built out of the box with the only addition of the wheels which were parts box finds slid into hand painted white wall tires. The Paint is Dupli-color Champagne with black and white interior.
  7. Just finished this build last week for a friend of mine. It is base on a real car that they love. I used the 66 Malibu from Lindberg and added a few features to make it as close as possible to it's 1:1 model. One of which was adding the 3" cowl inducted hood scoop over the stock ports as well as removing all scripts to make way for the P.E. Replacements. The wheels are from Fujimi with parts box disc brakes. Paint is Krylon Maroon Fusion polished out. Overall this was a nice kit to build. I have plans on doing one for myself someday.
  8. WOW! impressive! I can't even do this type of work taking my time... lol
  9. I introduce "The Electric Grape" And, "Out Of Time"
  10. Thanks again guys. Hope to see some of you at NNL East Sat. Till then Happy Building.
  11. Hey John, yes it is the AMT kit. Always liked the way it went together. I have to say even with the section, everything went together nicely. Didn't even have to cut the interior down.
  12. Thank's guy's. Had fun with this one and learned a lot. First time for a lot on this car. Now I am looking forward to my next radical kustom.. No idea what it will be though. Lol oh well.
  13. Ooooops! Forgot the grill shot. Sorry. Here it is. Not a great shot but if I can I will take more. Or I will see some of you at NNL East. And BTW, thanks for the compliments
  14. Finally finished my 49 Merc.(The Golden Diamond) This has been a long on going project that started at least 8 years go. It all started with a birthday gift from Alton Spence. (once again, Thanks Alton) and much needed pushing by my brother from another mother Luke Karosi as well as inspiration from his magazine, Kustoms Illustrated. I chopped it and hard -topped it then sectioned the body 4 scale inches, added the canted quad headlights with a kustom fitted grill. The tail lights were from the parts box and were canted as well. All of the interior was kustom made using materials from parts boxes and styrene pieces. The dash is a kustom fit 59-60 Chevy unit with a kustom steering wheel along with hand made Lakes Pipes from Aluminum rod. Glass was also made from templates seeing the original no longer fit. But enough with all the jibberish, on to the pics...
  15. Ok as promised I took a couple shots of the motor. Someday I may decide to detail it but for now I am calling it done.
  16. Thanks guy's. I will try to post a motor shot later. Didn't think of it because I didn't really detail it.
  17. Ok so i didn't finish it in 24 hours but I did finish it. I built it pretty much out of the box. Only additions were the aluminum panels inside and I tinted the rear window red with Tamiya clear red. The last photo was taken after a long day at the track LOL. Thank you two shows on Sunday... Anyway, enough foolin' Hope ya like. Happy Modeling!
