I'm working on a tank truck trailer combination, and I need some good pictures of the rear of a short tank trailer. I'm setting this up as a milk hauler using the Lindberg tank trailer as my starting point. The front part will be used on an International 4300 Eagle, and the rear half will be pup style. I can find lots of pictures of this combination, but none from the rear. If anybody could supply me with some pictures, I sure would appreciate it.

MRI trailer

The curved cupboards were a real pain, but the rooms are both finally stating to look like what they're supposed to represent. -

That's a good straightforward kit. The instructions are good and should have no problems with it. -
MRI trailer

Because of the way that the trailer is positioned, I wasn't able to get under it to see the suspension. The model that I'm building will be in a case, but will still get jostled some, so I'm cheating on the suspension, and building rigid mounting. If I was going for accuracy, I'd do more research, and build a proper suspension. For tires and wheels, I'll be using the gray "bud" wheels from an Italeri or ROG (I can't remember at the moment which produced it) Pete Alaskan Hauler kit. That kit came with a choice of "chrome plated" or molded gray plastic wheels. They're very close to what's on the trailer I'm modeling. -

This is a trailer that I'm building for the local hospital. Many people are intimidated by the very mention of MRI, but when faced with the trailer, that intimidation increases. The hospital will be using this model to show people what they will see when they enter it, and then to be able to explain what will transpire during their trip. The hope is that they might be put more at ease if they know what to expect. I consider it an honor to be able to build this for them. This is the exterior of the trailer I'm building. There is a ton of inspiration there. I really like your excellent weathering. -

Almost any of the AMT kits are good for starters, but I would suggest the Ford L series van kits. They go together very well, and because of how many are still out there, they're relatively inexpensive. The Pete conventional would be right in there too. -

display idea

One could use the design of the phonebooth as your inspiration. It could be built from wood and glass and/or plexiglass, and sized to fit an area in your home. -
Back in the 80s, I discovered how valuable some of my models had become, and I started selling them. Soon, every model I saw had dollar signs attached to it. My hobby became a business, and soon the fun of it left. I was lucky, finances caused me to have to sell nearly all of my collection, and when I was finally able to get things back together again, I'd discovered the hobby as a hobby again. Today I might occasionally sell a model, but I don't do it for a business. I do some projects for others, but they're done with no money attached. Be careful. There are many that can have enjoyment from both the business and the hobby, but it's way too easy for the business to take over the hobby.

My wife was watching a show on building fish tanks, and one that they built was on using a phone booth as a tank. This gave me an idea as a way to display models. An old style phone booth would be an excellent way to display fire trucks, taxis, wreckers, and police cars.
