Welcome to the forum! That Merc is straight bitchin! I love the colors!! So smooth! -
And yes, I used the instructions for that. Didn't want things to not look right, even though you will not see them unless right on top of the kit.

Some interior work today ... me and tweezers .. was afraid I would lose the little buggers I was working on.

Yeah, and my city has a large amount of idiots... But I get the point. ^^^^^^ That and we have a big substation in town as well. I didn't know about the lead time .. thanks for the awareness. I appreciate the additional awareness, as I truly didn't think of that. Still irked but not nearly as I was since learning something new.

She was beautiful! I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my boy to Cancer in Nov the last year, and I miss him fiercely.

So, my area has had some nasty pop up thunderstorms last night and today. Normally, they roll in, and roll out, no issues. Last night they roll in and boom power out..... took them 8 hrs to fix the bloody stuff, I get it, takes time. Cool power came on things are good.... Today, the wind blew right before the storm hit, and power out... now I have a transformer on one corner of my block those jokers have dealt with for the last 3 years, (3 years ago it got smoked, and all they did then was blow out junk, rewire it, you can still see the scorch marks on it) Today I see the city electric truck roll by, turn left, and then hear the tell tale, back up alarm, and look out the back door, and hey he's at the same transformer that was smoked then, not even 5 minutes of him going up in the bucket, power pops on. So like, hey city quit being cheap jack holes, and replace the transformer on the corner. I understand repairs take time, but they wouldn't have to constantly fix the same transformer if they would replace it with a new one. So irked is what I was, not mad, agitated or anything else just irked at the choices the city makes.

I got some primer on things, 2nd coat on the 47, 1st coat on the Skyline after it's bath. Got some parts for the cannonballer in prime too. And found out I have an interior package for the 67 two door. But I am using some of the bits from it for the cannonballer. Got some things for the 57 in prime too, shooting to do some detail work this week on the interior to wrap that up and then get the body attached to the chassis. Then it's bumper stuff, tail lights, etc.

As one who uses resin to enhance kits I am working on, I wouldn't mind seeing something like: Modified builds using resin. 1/2 resin builds. Full resin Builds. Of course those are just a very basic classes, they could be expanded upon with more solidification. And I love this topic as others have stated. So many well thought out ideas and points. Oh and this is why I love this forum, the great thought building and great tips.

Welcome Wan! Look forward to seeing your WiP and finished stuff. -
Who doesn't love a mock-up? Let's see yours!

Love the mockups!! -
Thanks John! I wanted to avoid a bland look with the look I am going for. There will be very few chrome pieces just for accent purposes.

Got lots of stuff in paint, see my post on the 47 Aerosedan. If you look closely in one of these pics, you will see the poor clean Skyline waiting his turn on primer tomorrow. I have some stuff painted for the Skyline, and the Cannonballer. Plus IRC you can see the tail lights for the 57 Fairlane in red too. Some of these are the same in 47 post, but I didn't point out the other work I had in progress.
