Love the mockups!! -
Thanks John! I wanted to avoid a bland look with the look I am going for. There will be very few chrome pieces just for accent purposes.

Got lots of stuff in paint, see my post on the 47 Aerosedan. If you look closely in one of these pics, you will see the poor clean Skyline waiting his turn on primer tomorrow. I have some stuff painted for the Skyline, and the Cannonballer. Plus IRC you can see the tail lights for the 57 Fairlane in red too. Some of these are the same in 47 post, but I didn't point out the other work I had in progress.

Nice!!

That's what I want to do, which is why I want at least 3-6 more. Plus more of the coupe for that exact reason.

And your right if I find it at Ollies... I will buy at least 3-6 more. So many great build options for it. I do want to do a stock one as well. I don't mind minor issues, just get annoyed when there are bigger issues, but hey we are modelers and we will make it work.

I changed my mind on the color for these. I will get pictures tomorrow and show you. @customline after the firewall set on the tub, I had to shave the V down in order for it to fit right. A little shave with the knife and it's good to go. Tbh, things that I have used from the stock build have fit nicely.

I shot it with Mr Color White Base. It just wouldnt lay right, plus the color I was gonna go with just didnt wanna seem right. Gonna reshoot it, and go with a combo I have used before. I usually shoot Tamiya spray. The last time I used the Mr. Color, no issues but this body is fighting me on white, plus I have a good window on completing this yet.

Looking good!! I have Christine in my stash, and going with a drag build as well, will be watching!

So in that picture it was taped in, and I just mounted it to the floor pan, and when I did my dry fit tests, it stopped nicely against the V-stop under the cowl. Now that I have it glued and ready to be primed, now that will be the teller of truths. I did some sanding one the body, mold lines, put the grill and headlight buckets in place, since this will be a murdered out look, with the metallic orange interior, just have to make sure it's clean. I have the frame on wheels. Will do the rest of the suspension bits and bobs soon as well. Gotta shoot some into primer, and then the colors I plan for them. So far I am running basically 5 colors, black, flat black, mica silver, metallic orange and gunmetal.

By building for her, it allows me to gain more kits without an issue. -

I think I have a color now for my panel in my stash. (If my wife doesn't claim it for the next build I do for her.)
