  1. Fantastic! Gonna follow this as a fellow Oldsmobile car guy and a lover of drag racing! Can't wait to see this as you do bit by bit and then wrap it up.
  2. I just remembered I picked up some new brushes from Joann's before they were sold out, and some new tweezers this last week.
  3. Slick build!
  4. Bumpers, wheel and shifter mount dechromed, block put together, a bunch of flashing removed from the parts I am using. The kit so far has some flashing issues, and gonna use box stock stuff, minus making a radiator support as the weird thing they called a support I got rid of. Next is some primer, and then color for the block, bumpers and wheels.
  5. Beautiful!! I could see this truck running up and down the hills in WA state with a load of lumber!!
  6. Outstanding!! So glad you shared this. I have that same trailer and just wrapped up the same truck as well. They look great in blue. And your right... how else do you make a trailer stand out... load them up with vehicles!!
  7. That is beautiful! Did you dechrome things to paint? The fuel tank and the steps??
  8. Fantastic! I just built this one, and I will buy another to build!
  9. This is my first Semi Truck and Trailer with my first time doing rust. I am very happy with how this turned out. I will be building another trailer for the Truck done in the same blue as well. I will also be building a day cab (not sure what) that will match the trailer. I hadn't done any weathering or what not on this as it was my first go, and since I know I can do these big trucks well, I will be detailing and the like on future trucks. Thanks for looking!
  10. Engine in and Cab mounted. Have to wait on some small parts to dry, so will continue the assembly tomorrow. For being my first Semi, I am thrilled at how well I am doing. Much better than expected tbh.
  11. That is amazing! I hope you see more than just that little guy!
  12. Great work!
  13. Wreck diorama or Junkyard diorama with it!
  14. Nice work! I like that blue!
  15. Welcome! Enjoy the forum! Good folks here!
  16. So this a Peterbilt 359 not a Kenworth... I should of waited to post this but here we are. Today brought forth a bunch of work on this. From some assembly to parts painted and soon to be assembled.
  17. So two pics... one of the interior tub and one of the seats I will be using for it. The seats are in the mess of stuff I painted today.
  18. I got lots done today, gonna post a couple pics here but add to the GTO and my Semi post with the rest.
  19. Nice save!! Now you can do some modeling magic!
  20. Ohh this is gonna be interesting... looks like they were a bit.. overzealous!
  21. This body is in the Purple power bath for a few days. I will pull it out Mon/Tue evening and then when I back to the bench I will change the color to a better purple.
  22. First kit was a 1:48 scale P-61 Black Widow, which is why I have a soft spot and several in my stash, I was 8-9 years old then. It started my love for models.
  23. At Ollie's I have been able to get kits from 12.99 to 14.99 US dollar. That was what I paid back in the early 90's, with a few 8.99 kits.
