  1. That's a 100% perfect build, not to mention the great photography. Congratulations - I might even drive up to Buffalo to see this in person.
  2. A very impressive build - love those brakes.
  3. Thanks for sharing a subject we rarely see here in North America - a perfect build with great detailing.
  4. Really nice color and a clean build.
  5. Absolutely calls for a tutorial - like you I'm not so tech savvy but I have a printer, photo editing and ready to try this out since I have a Minicraft Mercedes in the pipeline. How did you remove the paper backing after the printing?
  6. Really sharp job on the interior.
  7. Nicely done - I especially like the wheels and tires.
  8. Trunk and other panel lines look nice. Classic subject with great detail and especially that color. I was a young man barely driving age when the real things were around and this has super nostalgia going for it.
  9. I would like to see more builds like this - stock, clean and a great subject well done.
  10. Your nice paint job and choice of color really complements this build.
  11. Hello Jim - I'm just a few years behind you in age - welcome back. I hope you'll be showing us some new projects soon. After all, we age like fine wine.
  12. Great rebuild and a nice choice for the body color.
  13. Sharp looking build. IMC made some really super models back in the day - I loved their Beetle kit.

Unusual to find four door versions of 50's vehicles. Your research and detail really show. Nice work to be proud of. Don't you wish the Jo-Han molds still existed?
  15. Hello Alan - I am reviving this thread to tell you how impressed I am with this build. I am in the process of de-snaking the nearly identical Serpent kit and your careful description has been very helpful. I must agree that its a surprisingly great kit and something I wouldn't normally associate with Pyro / Lindberg. Your good quality photos are a pleasure to study - love the detailing on the brake plates. I have a feeling we're in the same age bracket and your experience shows. So does your brother still build?
  16. I remember building these when I was young and you've done such a nice job - you must have worked eight days a week (not to mention a hard days night) to finish them.
  17. Great looking wheels are a perfect match for this subject.
  18. Love those painted wheels and dog dish hubcaps - you made some nice changes and produced a sharp build.
  19. I'm a sucker for box stock vintage vehicles and this is a really nice clean build.
  20. What a blast! Super nice build and showing the advantages that are found in larger scale models when detailed as nice as this one is. Plus, retirement is the perfect time to go deep on some of those more demanding subjects. Thanks for sharing this one.
  21. This is also one of my favorites and lends itself to all sorts of mods. My next might be an El Camino conversion. You made a great color choice.
  22. I love the unusual and this fits the bill. If someone made a larger scale kit I would have to do it. Thanks for showing us an offbeat cool little car.
  23. I love box stock vintage vehicles - this looks great.
  24. I appreciate your honest opinion of this unusual kit. Despite all the problems you've managed to really make the most of it so congratulations. i always enjoy seeing offbeat subjects like this.
