  1. Well, happy belated birthday.
  2. Thanks for explaining that Harry. I had heard the term before but didn't know exactly what it was......unless we're talking about fishin'.
  3. Good grief....Marjoe Gortner was in that movie! Lol! Whatever happened to him? I always enjoyed the use of models in movies and TV shows, which is why I'm a big Gerry Anderson fan. I've never heard of this movie...I checked Hulu.com and they don't have it. I'll be on the lookout for it, Hope yer cold gets better.
  4. I'll be there. I've cashed in my entire retirement plan just for this, so I'll have at least 25 bucks to spend.
  5. I guess that makes two of us.......what is trolling?
  6. How is it possible to delete someone elses post?
  7. Happy birthday from me too!! What time is the cake and ice cream?
  8. Oh, wow......thats awesome, especially for your first flame job! Looks great!
  9. Well, I'm just a nobody....certainly not the caliber of THOSE guys, but I'll be there. I missed it last year and I've been grumpy ever since!
  10. Dave, I've found that adding a drop or two of dishwashing liquid to the wash makes it flow much better.
  11. I'm also with Zoom Zoom......I say no. This is one of the places I come to relax and get away from everyday BS. I'd prefer it stay that way.
  12. Or Moon Pies...
  13. I think the "A" in that number X-20A means acrylic. If thats the case, no, it shouldn't affect lacquer paint at all. If you use an acrylic wash, you should be fine. As far as ratio, I don't know for sure, I just mix it till it flows nicely. Probably something like 20:1...pretty thin. I always keep a bottle of black wash ready. If it starts getting too thick, I just add some more acrylic thinner. Hope this helps.
  14. Well, boys.......looks like you won't have to wait 'till 2012. I just saw on the news that we're blowing up the moon in the morning.
  15. Nice looking sprint car! I've always liked that one. If it'll make ya feel any better, the Revell SCCA Trans Am Camaros have Ford engines with Chevy valve covers!
  16. I've enjoyed all your Indy builds, as you really have a knack for capturing these cars perfectly. Can't wait to see more!
  17. Nice. You plan on building it? Only thing is.....while thats the Vette (It seems like they also had a Woodie, but I can't remember for sure), thats NOT Mimi.........THIS is the Screamin' Mimi:
  18. Oooooooo we have a WINNAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, it was Riptide! I'm not sure what the rules are here, but I would assume it's YOUR turn now! Lol! BTW.....lets see the Vette model! (The "Screamin' Mimi" is on my list of models to build!)
  19. Nope, not Hawaii 5-0 either.........but Y'all are on the right track. It WAS a detective type show.
  20. Sorry.....still not it.
  21. No, not Charles In Charge either.
  22. No, none of those either.........
  23. I just did..........click the link. http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/files/2399187_b5m5q/guess.mp3
  24. Gee....this isn't what I thought it was. I thought it was going to be a game where you post a theme song from a TV show or movie, and one of us lucky contestants would guess what it is..... Sort of like this: Ok, contestants, in the TV and movie themes catagory, can YOU......NAME THAT TUNE??????????????? http://www.hotlinkfiles.com/files/2399187_b5m5q/guess.mp3
