  1. Sounds pretty good, I'd like to see it in yellow. As far as the windshield goes some people use super fine wet or dry sandpaper and then various polishing compounds. I have used Future with good results. Not sure what future is called in your country.
  2. No kidding Greg. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around the prices these things fetch. I would love to see these released again!
  3. I'd really love to have the ITC Merc too. One of our members, I cant remember whom, managed to score two of them. And he is in Sweden!
  4. Those gauges look great, as do the seats and the rest of the interior. Some really clean workmanship Andy!
  5. I love that color combination!
  6. Yea, Doc, I'd love to have a "cave" like that in my back yard. On the Cad-ee-lac, perhaps with a little bit of weathering to "toughen" it up a bit, it would make such a great combo. I have a virgin untouched Jo-Han 64 caddy, but I havent the cojones to build it, yet, that is. I 'd have to man up a lot to stretch it and make it into a 4x4. That doesnt mean I dont bring it out to grok the old palstic a bit. As a side note, Ive been watching your videos, great work and very infomative! Thanks for your youtube channel.
  7. One of the guys here chopped a Chevy, maybe 57, with quite curved glass. Instead of messing with the windshield, he left it stock and modified the bottom of the cowl to fit. When that was done, he trimmed the windshield. Glass has always been a nemisis of chopping, but the modifications on the cowl were not noticeable. The big thing to me was, you can always screw around with white plastic and bondo, but a clear windshield is not forgiveing!
  8. The reaper standing on that pedestal out front is enough to keep most everyone away. Those that made it through then could deal with those biker dudes.
  9. Absolutely excellent workmanship! I like the last shot the best, comes close to looking real.
  10. Thats awesomne, I love it Doc! Looks reeeel homey to me, what more could a man want? Well, maybe if it had wheels and a hitch on it so I can hook it up to my Cadd-ee-lac! Yea, I know, they tells me that sumthin aint right with me.....
  11. Very nice, very traditional, I dig it!
  12. Outstanding job!
  13. Interesting stuff here. My ex wife had a nail business that was more of a hobby than a business. She got to claim no profit and write off losses for five years. Then the IRS wrote her a letter and told her basically she should either show a profit or close the business.
  14. I agree that R&M, Modelhaus are great. One of my all time favorites is Kris Morgan http://www.madmodeling.com/store/ . I also like Scale Repros Plus http://scalereprosplus.com/ Scenes Unlimited http://scenesunlimited.homestead.com/ and annalitt http://myworld.ebay....984.m1543.l2533
  15. I dig it! The flakey paint and whitewalls set it apart from the norm. Heck you even made those ugly amt tires look good. Great work!
  16. I did the dash and other metal with Testors Revving Red, and the seats in American Accents Colonial Red. They look great together! Ignore the lousy foil job on the dash, I'm not done yet.
  17. Yea, there are 9 on ePay right now! But it really is a cool kit. I might have to pick one up to accompany my "non-automotive" shelf, which only has this so far:
  18. Well despite some comments I've read I still like it. And that paint is fantastic. Great composition and color choice! I bet this is quite impressive in person!
  19. Yea! Fundimensions were really competition for Arii's wierdness in those days! Arii also had a couple black cross ( HItler's emblem ) kits, I know of a VW, but cant find any pics of it. Fodder for "what were they thinking". I'd love to have a lot of the kits posted for the, ummmm, uniqueness!
  20. I was searching for a pic of the Ski-Doo kit, I think I may have seen it ONCE, and came upon this. Now this is wierd!
  21. The only ramp truck I recall is MPC's "racers wedge". I dont think it was ever black or had a Chevelle on the back. And I dont remember any "Heavy Chevy" decals until the re release of the AMT 69 Camaro funny car. Is this the truck you're thinking of?
  22. Both very nice, but I love the red one! Must be the inset grille and the steel wheels.
  23. No pics for me either, not in Opera, Safari, AOL or I.E. Yea I know, why so many browsers......
  24. I sure hope Mercedes doesnt get wind of this and cut it up for firewood.
  25. Arii American Violence T-Bird. Go to the link, blow up the pic, and read the text. There were a few of these kits that caused a vibrating buzz in ones bowells! If that doesnt get you maybe its "winker signal" will! http://gomotorbids.com/LotDetail.cfm?Lot_ID=1235156
