  1. Nice job so far, Dave. I just bid on some of your stuff
  2. Hey Terry, I didnt know it, but that was a pretty good joke, "one of the four" What I really meant was my favorite of the 4 Trikes made by MPC. But I like it your way better!
  3. The AMT 32 Ford coupe, and the Blue Beetle including its clones rate right up there, but for me its the AMT 32 Ford roadster! I must have 15 of those...
  4. I second all of the above! I really love the old el caminos done up like yours!
  5. Thats wicked, Chuck! I dig your style!
  6. Nice job! This one is my favorite out of the four.
  7. Yea, I'm with you on this. I find I get distracted from my current projects real easy. I started a Monogram Slingshot while waiting for my Black Widow to arrive, stopped that to start the Black Widow, then got interested in finishing a stalled project, and theres a CBP on another forum I'd like to join.....yikes! I think I spend too much time online and not enough at the bench.
  8. I'm with Peter. Before I blew up the thumbnails I thought you had included pics of the real thing. This is fantastic!
  9. I must say, thats really cool, Chuck. You sure have a unique style! I look forward to your posts.
  10. The AMT 51 Chevy looks like a good place to start. Revell has the 54 Chevy too, but the roof of the 51 looks closer. The 51 The 54 On second thought, why not just modify the Bel Air roof? Theres a lot of work to do with either the 51 or 54, and it would seem to me that just modifying the stock roof woudl be easier. Also if you look at the side profile, the coupe in you pic, Adam, has a longer trunk and shorter roof than the purple 54 in the above pic.
  11. Driving time 35 days, 18 hours.
  12. I like it!
  13. Great job, love the wheels/tires and that "rake"!
  14. That is a great job you did on one of my favorite kits!
  15. Thats unique! The signature makes it all that more impressive!
  16. I think this is what he is after. Right, Joe?
  17. I love this build. The spark plug wires look very good, and man, is that paint smooth!
  18. Wow those headlight are looking great! Just like the rest of it!
  19. I think the simplest way would be to cut out the louvers, square up the sides of the hole, and glue in some evergreen 1/4 round strips. I know the curve on the louvers would be convex rather than concave like the 1:1, but I bet in scale it woudl look great.
  20. They look like they just rolled off at Ascot Speedway. Great job on them both!
  21. I dig the primer one! Love the front mounted blower!
  22. Well, Greg we seem to think alike! I didnt realize that GMP was also available in a coupe. I'm almost thinking of buying one, the pics looks so cool. I have accumulated some of the Revell parts packs off ebay, including both verssion sof the roadster frame. I think that Replicas and Miniatures make some resin recasts of Revell's roadster speed equipment, but Im not sure. I know we wont ever see a kit as cool as the Allison drawing, but one can dream, eh?

    Tall-T low rod

I love it! That color, with the plaid upholstery, engine, and wheel choice make it so cool!
  24. Stupid me, I had he link to the GMP saved. http://cgi.ebay.com/GMP-1-18-SCALE-1932-FORD-ROADSTER-KIT-CAR-/370466294069?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item5641830935
  25. I posted that in the "What is your dream model kit" topic. It makes me wish for the return of ALL the Revell parts packs. As an aside, has anyone seen teh GMP ( I think ) 32 Ford Roadster kit? I know its 1/18, and diescast, but its got a bunch of cool traditional option, wheels and tires, exhaust, carburetion. I foudn one on Ebay, but cant locate it now. I reminds me of this Allison drawing.
