  1. Welcome! Yea, I saw this over there too, but I'll say again, great build, I LOVE the color!
  2. I like this a lot! Didnt you have it on ebay? I think I bid on it but lost.....anyway, great job!
  3. I got zonked on this one. If you look carefully at the pics of the body, despite having a wierd angle chop it is much closer to stock than other, later versions. The hood looks normal length and the grille appears to be correct height along with the body sides. Well, the photo on the box did NOT depict what was inside. It's the same swful shrinky dink body as all the others.
  4. That grille is in the kit. It's really nice!
  5. Uh.....WOW!
  6. Theres been a bunch of these posted various places, but I think this just might be my favorite! What a great job!

This is one of my favorite kits. Youve done a great job on it. Love the color and the attitude!
  8. The recent "ghost" version of the digger 'Cuda is the first that comes to mind. I think there is an all clear red funny car, maybe Polar Lights. Or do you mean clear-clear, not colored-clear? That sounds stupid, but I think you get the idea.
  9. Man, thats nice. I think this is one of your best!
  10. I started at age 8 in 1962, tapered off around 1977. Resumed from '83 to 85 and quit again. Got back in with the enthusiam I had as an adolescent in 2007! So thats uh, 20 years. Hadta get the calculator for that. Thats not much compared to a lot of you folks. I sorta regret that girls got in the way most of those years as they are all gone now. ..... no, not "gone", just not a part of my life. Thats, maybe, like, a good thing!
  11. I absolutely love everythig about this! What a great job!
  12. Wow, that looks as bad as the Monogram 69 Camaro, in its own "speshul" way
  13. I'm hoping to go! It's less than an half hour away, but I've got some health issues I'm dealing with. It would be great to meet you and the rest of the guys!
  14. So I guess even way back when, there were people with more money than taste!
  15. What a flash of genius starting with a GTO! The side profile look right on.
  16. You acared me with those big wheels! Im glad youre not using them. I really like this build!! I would agree with Terry, a bit too much tilt on he nose. Not to be nitpicking, but this is turning out so nice, just trying to give some positive feedback!
  17. Thats a nice shade of green!
  18. Well, I argued with a jerk of a judge about a 69 Camaro that I knew was better than the competition, it was just a case of him not understanding my building style, or maybe he just didnt like Camaros, or fought with the old lady that morning. Oh, yeah, by the way, I was 15........
  19. I love how low it sits, and those stretchwalls!
  20. If you guys haven looked at the WIP link, check it out. Sergey does some incredible work!
  21. White glue or clear parts cement sounds interesting. Way back when, I used Testors "Ed Roth Pearl White" in a bottle, and it always came out looking pretty good. Ive still got the bottle, but the paint isnt really useable anymore. Ive tried Tamiya and Testors Once Coat white pearls and they dont look very good. I will have to try the glue method.
  22. That is pretty cool. I brought a big smile to my face!
  23. Yes Monogram. Too early for me to take a pic, but tan plastic under that chrome is a give away. I measured mine with a ruler ( Im really old school! ) and its just about 23/32 which equates to .718, without calipers thats close enough to .709.
  24. You are an artist,Chris!
