  1. I don't know about the glitter paint, but Folk Art acrylic seems to have a minimal amount of pigment. It doesn't cover so good nor does it flow well. On a non-porous surface it wouldn't work very good unless airbrushed.
  2. That's from Sandel7, also known as Escort 500 XL. Buyer beware, its rough, and a couple of items I have from him weep.
  3. Well, maybe. Aoshima had a series of kits that were jacked up to look like 70's era American street machines. They called it the "hot Rod" series. Seems to me that one of them may have had 4 spoke Cragars. I cant find that one on the interweb. Heres the only pic I could find on any of them. Perhaps this could get you pointed in the right direction.
  4. I saw you standing there by the stage Your black stockings and your see-through dress You mouth is open but I don't want to hear you say good night You're sorta young but you're overage I don't care cos I like you're style Don't know about your brain but you look alright
  5. I'm simply amazed you made that thing look so nice. I gave up on mine.
  6. That was a one time only release by Lindberg called CheckmaTe. I dont know much else. Ive only seen pics of it. Your box is not the correct one. The interweb wont let me post a picture of the box, but google Lindberg checkmate and you'll see it in it's glorious wierdness.
  7. What a unique idea for the radiator!
  8. The F-85 funny car body is done in resin. Round 2 has the hangar shots to an F-85 convertible, what looks to be the original annual with the funny car body. There's a thread here somewhere about it.
  9. Yea, those wheels are a masterpiece!
  10. Heres another pic. Google "jeff courtie super woody"
  11. "Katia" gave me a chuckle. The girlfriend has had a "Yolanda", a "Nadia" and a "Fiona". She calls my Durango "the Durangle"
  12. This might sound stupid, but did you wiggle the battery ground cable when it wouldnt start? I had a bad ground once. It was really difficult to diagnose.
  13. Maybe you'd better take a look at that model and make sure the cotton balls aren't stuck to the paint.....
  14. Yep, those rims look just right. I'm amazed you were able to sand down that putty in such a small area.
  15. Is the hole in the rim smaller in diameter than the stub on the axle? If so, just ream it larger with an appropriate sized drill bit. If the hole in the rim is larger, you could shim it with some brass or aluminum tubing.
  16. Someone was a year or two ago, but I cant remember whom it was. The way these things are like hen's teeth and ex$$pensive, one would think it could prove to be lucrative. The only issue I see is that the tires really have to be stretched to fit over the wheels. Flexible resin would definitely be needed. Oh yea, and the set I got is beautiful, but the tires are slicks. Not a problem for me, but someone really wanting treaded tires would be disappointed.
  17. Eggscellent James, I dig your chop and those skirts are great. Nice job on the splash pans and the paint too! It might be because I've not seen the Lindberg kit built up well before, but I had not noticed until now how much they messed up the grille... or did you add the extra divider in the "gills"?
  18. That is Craig Stansfield's page not R&M and its over 5 years old. Can you have them mail you a catalog, or is there something specific you're looking for?
  19. Thats pretty cool. I'd never have thought of using that Plymouth kit. I dig it!
  20. Sorry about the masking tape fiasco. It happened to me too, and it appeared that a reaction between the Tamiya tape and the paint sprayed over it was the culprit. Mine actually ate into the cured finish under the tape so I had to wetsand and respray.
  21. While you were off in France we were stranded in the British Isles Left to fall apart amongst your passports and your files We never asked for miracles But they were our concern. Did you really think we'd sit it out and wait for your return
  22. Mine WAS this: Until this came out:
  23. Almost. From the website http://thebridalcarriage.net/main.html "If you are looking for the most unusual, outstanding and memorable Wedding Experience, you might be interested in the ultimate Bridal Carriage for your special day".
