  7. Phillipe is also quite the accomplished slot racer, and designed the paint on the 1972 Olsonite Eagle Indy Car. This pic shows him in the restored car.
  8. The sun went down and the night came through. While my heart still laid deep inside for you. Wishing and hoping for just one more try. I refuse to wave the love we shared good-bye.
  9. I have a glider pilots license, and hundreds of hours in unpowered flight. It's real, and quite possible. I've seen gliders in competition aim for an X on the runway, and miss it by inches, and they are a heck of a lot larger than this fellow. I wasn't that good, missing by a few feet. A wing suit would be more controllable in those circumstances due to the fact that it would react quicker. The only issue would be that he would need to plan his descent a LONG time in advance.
  10. I find guilt to be a useless emotion more suited to those who can handle it better than I.
  11. Nightwish is fantastic. I like Annette better than Tarja. Bye Bye Beautiful is my favorite.
  12. The Joker, Steve Miller Band
  13. Soak them in brake fluid. I found out by accident it works on vinyl tires, I dont know about rubber.
  14. My things, which I have been gathering for over 40 years, are going to a fellow that runs another forum. My family has instructions. He'll know what to do with it.
  15. I have seen/heard of people straightening them out, but I have no idea if yours could be. Heres a thread that might get you started in the right direction: http://promomodelcars.lefora.com/topic/7068724/Hot-water-treatment-for-warp-fact-or-wives-tale#.VO54uSqF8ls
  16. Like that hood!

  18. Dang, thats a great idea! I like it!
  19. Nice idea on that twist, but I agree with Niko. A bit higher! What color, blue with the superwagon decals?
  20. Woah, talk about back to the 70's! I like it, just a tad too high in the rear for my taste, tho. Those stripes are neat we should have a thumbs up emoticon here.
  21. Priceless!
  22. As far as I am aware, the model kit is AMT's 1927 Ford Phaeton with Porter specific parts like the hood and grille added, and the street rod parts deleted. I've seen the kit once, a long time ago, if I remember correctly it was molded in red.
  23. What the..... that's really your wife? With the hairy mole and all? Nevermind, I googled it........
  24. Too bad the censors won't let you take the 'G' out of gass monkey. Sue would like that.
