  1. Ha! Bill yes, but the one on the right seems to be Mark Knopfler's mum.
  2. I can laugh at this Prius because, in a way, it sort of deserves it. I pity the poor GTO though. Looks like Ol' George has a thing for noses.
  3. Now that he's got a payment plan, I might forego a few Starbuck's each month and put my stake on one of these.
  4. Maybe we should give the guy a break, fiberglass and bondo fumes are toxic. Could even be the pakalolo.
  5. Speaking of crude Korris Kars copies, look at this take off of Mongram's slingshot dragster. I wonder if they just drew up a copy or used a pantograph.
  6. Here's two more wip's I had forgotten about. The dually is running Casey's resin wheels.
  7. Thats too bad, Rob, I really like those flames on the white paint.

    Mustang-low

Excellent stance, and quite surprising how well your choice of wheels works with it!
  9. Here's an old one that some of you have seen before: The second kit I did when returning to the hobby in 2007, again most have probably seen it. Finally, my "34 B's Way" work in progress inspired by Bernard's 34 shown above.
  10. Since they've already got the hanger shot for most of this:
  11. Route out the area about 1/8 inch around the scribed line. Fill it with Bondo and sand down to the original body contours, then using masking tape as a guide, rescribe. The bondo is soft enough that it makes scribing a good line extremely easy, yet tough enough to hold up under the remaining body work. Beleive me, it works!
  12. Sometimes I think they must be playing a joke on the buying public. Something like, lets see how ugly we can make this and still get them to buy it.
  13. Nice model, even though I dont like the concept. Those are among my favorite wheels for tuners, but somehow I cannot wrap my mind around them on an F-1. Must be too old....
  14. If theres no structural integrity, white glue is fine. Plastic cement and super glue will mess the window up. You could also try epoxy.
  15. Dipping them in future helps no matter what you use!
  16. It doesnt look too good from this pic. On the other hand, this is the turbine version. Is this the one your'e looking at?
  17. LOL!
  18. Under the skin is another thing. The Nissan is front engine, front wheel drive, with a KERS system than can make it four wheel drive when necessary. . http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_GT-R_LM_Nismo
  19. Looking forward to the debut of this one:
  20. Looks like Stig's vette is actually a kit. http://www.fantasyworldhobbies.com/new-items/new-model-kits/amt-top-gear-1953-corvette-1-25-scale-model-car-kit-amt910/
  21. Anything on the streets of CA has to be licensed and insured, even things being towed
  22. I just discovered he has his own page on wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virgil_Su%C3%A1rez
  23. For those not familar with him, he goes by "Zelkam" on some of the forums. Incredible work! http://members.fotki.com/Zelkam/about/
  24. Yup, your correct its a cabriolet. I blew the picture up to make sure
  25. The # decals in this pic, 1 to 0, the 48 and 66 are Pactra slot car decals. They are rare and well sought after, and get decent bucks on ebay. The #33 is Pactra. More bucks. The #33 and 66 are again Pactra, the small 1-0 is Cox. Even more bucks. If you are interested in selling them I'd ck out the ebay slot car section. My guesstimate is that you could be looking at $100 or so.
