  1. Yea, there aren't many pics out there. I assume you've seen these.
  2. I'd rather have the Alfa its based off of.
  3. That's great to save an old relic! I've got one of them too.........
  4. Sorry...I'm sure I've seen them, I just don't know who it was that had them.
  5. I'm glad you're back on this.
  6. Absolute yes to that Maroon '30. I thought I recognized that red 27 Roadster pickup... thinking this is what it used to look like.Comparing the two pics side by side, I'm not sure. Engine placement is different on this one, and the headlights are a lot further forward. I like this one better. What about these two? What does your discerning eye think?
  7. How about this? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-25-SCALE-LOU-ARRINGTONS-1972-MUSTANG-FUNNY-CAR-DECAL-/371409598972?hash=item5679bcb9fc
  8. I edited this post after had written that Don Loomis aka Escort500XL aka Sandel7 had them at one time. I don't think that's correct. You can google him, or peruse his 625 pictures at the link. I'm sorry, but I dont have any contact info for him. https://www.flickr.com/photos/escort500xl/
  9. Not my usual style, but I really like this! Love the hood, body kit, and molded nose. Sitting appropriately low helps too!
  10. Obviously a lot of work went into that. Suffers from "the sum of the parts is greater than the whole" I cannot imagine how much "fun" it would be to drive it on a 100 mile cruise.
  11. I saw that too! Ed Fluck ( Drag City Castings ) did one like that using a 57 Ford.
  12. Thanks for the corrections Tim, I didn't realize that your Firebird wasnt the AMT kit.
  13. Roger Zimmermann is a member here, too!
  14. I'm not sure what happened to the Firebird, or if the 69 was an update to the 68 And this is the Quarter Masters for those who havent seen it, courtesy of Tim Boyd.
  15. Oh, sorry Greg.............
  16. I liked Iron Man and Cereal Killer.
  17. Ok, I've got Fotki, the basic free one. This works, I've done it 3 times now. Go to fotki and... 1. Open the picture you want 2. right click and select "copy image" NOT "copy image URL" 3. Click to open the reply box at the bottom of the thread 4. Put the cursor where you want to place the pic, right click and select "paste" 5. Sit back and enjoy the simplicity.
  18. Fotki right click copy paste. That was easy.
  19. Nope, the MRC tires are square shouldered Mickey Thompsons, and another brand I have forgotten. This isnt my pic, I found it online. These tires look like Revell-Monogram Goodyears with no lettering.
  20. The out of production MRC wheel sets are among the most accurate and deepest Cragars I've seen. They're still out there and show up on Ebay every few months. Pricey, though. The Monogram El Camino Camper has a nice set too, and our member Casey sells resin copies. They are both a slight bit too large in diameter for the Zinger tires, but I dont think you're going to find anything else. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Resin-1-24-Scale-Cragar-S-S-Deep-Deeper-15-Wheels-/321755161471?hash=item4aea1a237f This is a pic of the MRC wheels.
  21. I heard that they are buying back some of them. The figures go from "some" to "selected" to hundreds of thousands. This must be really bad. I'll keep my 17 year old 50,000 mile Durango, thank you.
  22. I'll have to ck the scanner next time. The Dart was priced at 24.99 when I was there 2 Fridays ago.
  23. Yes, posted to his facebook page today.
