  1. What got me in that video was how the audience laughed. Sheesh. Obviously not car people.
  2. Greg's Decal Graphics is on that list. I don't have personal experience with him, but the fellows at the Traditional Rod and Kustom forum say he does an excellent job and is very reliable. http://vsrnonline.com/gregsdecalgraphics/
  3. So why doesn't everyone just airbrush acrylic on red/yellow bodies? Water based acrylic, not acrylic lacquer. That would solve the problem, yes? They do make clear too. Testor's Aztec clear is fantastic.
  4. I like the colors. It seems however, that you've gotten both rear tires installed on the driver's side and the front ones on the passenger side. Fixing that will greatly improve the stance.
  5. Ummm, that was me. Dang thing is a size and a half too small too.
  6. And the audience was laughing. Must have been full of Prius owners.
  7. My son loved Disney movies, and I found some of them tolerable. Mutant Turtles too, and Power Rangers. I got through some of them by noticing exactly how stupid they were ( esp Rangers ). It was better for me, and easier, than playing the same games over and over ad nauseum. Plus, he just thought he and Dad were having fun together for hours on end.
  8. The Monogram 39 Chevy Sedan Delivery has two of them. The one on the left in the pic below is really huge, and seems quite out of scale.
  9. Those Cox Cheeta slot cars were also made as model kits, although basically what we would call curbside today. I have most of all of one that I saved from when it was new. I peruse ebay often looking for the missing pieces.
  10. That's stupid, Indy has been won more than a few times on fuel strategy. Danica won Motegi in '08 on fuel, and the haters dispelled that too.
  11. I gave up on Michaels a couple years ago. Prices too high, selection to poor....I could go on.....
  12. Doesn't the 65 Chevelle Wagon have them?
  13. Difficult to say which. You could always try different ones on each side to see which you like best.
  14. That's great, I like yours much better than the 1:1 inspiration. Excellent job on the paint and bodywork! The exhaust and the diffuser are nice touches.
  15. Good to see you back Jeff. Nice work as usual.
  16. I keep hoping for this. There was a rumor, but its been years since with no sign of it.
  17. Those HP numbers approach Top Fuel and Funny Car numbers. That is going to need some serious electronic intervention to come even close to being driveable.
  18. Either 91% rubbing alcohol or Purple Power will do it, sorta. I got almost all of the graphics off of this exact kit with one of them. Sorry, I don't remember which. Needed a long soak, and a lot of elbow grease and a stiff denture toothbrush. Since you're going to prime it, this should do the job.
  19. And now we're stuck with mini vans. Makes me sick
  20. I have a few of those Falcons too
  21. A little trial using Testor's Aztec airbrush acrylics.
  22. The in-progress shot shows how awful his sense of proportion was. He calls himself einstyn.....dorkstyn is more like it.
  23. That's Calkichi's Datsun. Scroll part way down the page. http://www.hobidas.com/blog/j-tipo/desktop/archives/revell_datsun_2/
