  1. I like it. Might take me a bit to get used to the wheels, but the stance is great.
  2. Nice, I like it too!
  3. Wow, that's nice. I love that color. White under the fenders is a great touch!
  4. Other than the blingy rims, that's a thing of beauty
  5. I'm old as dirt. That makes some of you older than dirt.
  6. Testor's Aztec. It's pre-thinned, has great pigment, and is very forgiving. Drys matte, so clear is needed. Theirs is excellent. IMO if you haven't airbrushed before, this is the way to go. http://www.testors.com/product-catalog/testors-brands/aztek/airbrushable-acrylic-paint
  7. Absolutely true about the blushing. It may take awhile to show up, so be careful. I tried painting a 1:1 a long time ago with lacquer when it was around 60-65 degrees. I had to put so much retarder in the paint to avoid the blush that it took nearly a half hour to tack off. It still blushed, but man, was it smooth and shiny! I was not able to polish it out. It was a dark navy blue, so perhaps a lighter color wouldn't be as bad.
  8. I think you're right on it being a Cooper, looks like an F3
  9. I've seen plenty of those over the years, but somehow this one seems to "work". Maybe its the 40 Ford headlights. I like the peep mirror and suicide doors. Gotta lose those hubcaps though.
  10. If MPC used a picture of the actual kit, it would not be a good choice. I don't know if they are all the same kit.
  11. I love those interior colors.
  12. That style wheel looks pretty good in dark bronze. Since its such a basic wheel, I think whatever color compliments that beautiful paint would work well.
  13. I am/was a member. Do you know if the prices set by the corporate office, or do individual stores have some control? The last time I was there, the kits and paint were priced so high that it would take a 50% discount to make any purchase a good deal.
  14. Jack Reacher would have no reason to be in a car chase. He runs from no one. Unless he has Tom Cruise's stature.
  15. Scenes unlimited has them, they just don't have whitewalls. http://scenesunltd.com/products/t36-1-25-goodyear-13-tires
  16. Wow, that's neat! I really like this one
  17. Me either. I was a construction equipment mechanic for almost 30 years. My boss called my work "meticulous"
  18. But it has AUTHENTIC 70's GM orange peel paint on it. What more could you ask for?
  19. Wilhelm's wonder became the Ice Cream Truck, and the King T was altered to make something else, maybe the Night Crawler. Probably the easiest would be the Diamond Duster.
  20. Looks good, I like the stance
  21. I think flames would take attention off of your wonderful creativity. If your starting with pearl white, some panels would work well and could be designed to show off the bodywork. I think a turquoise, or light orchid, or even tangerine might look nice. Not my model, but it shows a tangerine-red color over pearl white.
  22. You should be incredibly proud of your talent

That color suits it so well. Love the clean look of this one, and the minimal chrome. Excellent job
