  1. I love this.
  2. Sparkly blue! Needs to be striking, like the model, yet not too much that it's overwhelming.
  3. The only thing I'm aware of being restored is the mag wheels and decals. I believe the last versions had something that looked like Vector wheels. I know it has a new decal sheet, but I'm not sure how much is different from the original.
  4. Outstanding, I like this so much better than o.o.b. The canopy and pontoons make it look pretty swoopy.
  5. Check out Plastruct tube and elbows. I've seen a couple sets of headers made using them, and they work out pretty good. It's just like building a 1:1 set in scale. Warning, they've updated the website and its pretty user un-friendly. https://plastruct.com/?s=elbows&post_type=product
  6. I recognize your track and the name....I've seen you on Slot Forum, or something like that I think. Love the track. Great work on the scenery!
  7. I love that inverted windshield. What about doing the front of the hood and grille to match?
  8. I tried it on the edges of a couple of rims where the chrome has worn off. It looks perfect upon application, but not quite as much after it dries. One of them was a chrome steel rim which has a very narrow, sharp edge. I would not be able to foil that, and regular silver paint looks horrible. The molotow marker is a great solution. I expect it might be unnoticeable on a tire, or a finished model. It'll be perfect for interior chrome.
  9. Your a great cheerleader Bill. Just donated.
  10. That's a familiar pic Jonathan, do you play GT6?
  11. Yes, there were a couple of them in my town way back when they first came out. One of the few kits for the VW that I found to have great lines. I see now that they are still around and have tube frames rather than the bug floorpan. What's that, like 50 years in business? Pretty amazing for a kit car company.
  12. Good to see you back. I missed seeing your work on TRaK. I'd also love to see a rod-n-kustom area here as that's definitely my preference.
  13. I started out posting the Slixx sheet "E" but it doesn't really look like what you're after. I haven't seen anything with the lettering exactly like the car pictured. Sorry.
  14. The canopy and wheel fairings make all the difference!
  15. The box is the only thing different with this one and other later issues.
  16. Beautiful paint work, the color looks a lot like Nissan Midnight Purple Pearl.
  17. Nice work on the chassis
  18. Oh yeah, the Vicky!! I had forgotten what an attitude this one has. Love the mods you did to the rear wheel wells to get the radius to match the tires.
  19. Yep unfortunately its only the pickup bed, turtle deck, and oval tank. I sure wish RM would re-do this one like they did the Blue Bandito.
  20. Beautiful RRR, smooth certainly describes it. Impeccable workmanship, and yes, we need more rods! That step-chop method works great. You guys really should follow the link to watch the build-up on this one. Great to see you and Kit posting here again.
  21. Yea, I've got a 4x4 and its only been out of 2wd mode once when the streets were really really wet. Geez, I think that was about 10 years ago.
  22. No kidding, I think I need some eye bleach
  23. Great job. I just love this kit, and your model. Clean workmanship
  24. That's great, good work on the body! You should post a pic of the entire track.
