  1. That's unique. I'm going to have to try it.
  2. I like it, the flares make a big difference the Evo wing looks so much better than the one you had in the prior pic.
  3. This might help you see what it looked like. http://www.automobile-catalog.com/photo/1976/187670/74624.html
  4. There's a 1/24 Revell Lotus 23 on ebay right now. I don't remember there being a 19. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Revell-Vintage-Lotus-23-Slot-Car-Racing-Body-R-3253-1-24-/132043254724?hash=item1ebe642bc4:g:TqMAAOSwW6JYXb4F
  5. I've got a few old survivors that roll. I like that because its just different. When I build something, it doesn't roll.
  6. I think Bill has the most viable idea. I've had my 1:1 paint matched several times. You might also consider laying down some clear over the One Coat and see how you like it. I've found that it seems to reduce the appearance of the obnoxious flake.
  7. Mine might be the Johan 64 Dodge Ramchargers kit. I built it back when it was new, it's still in great shape ( except that the headers have fallen off ) and I even have some of the funny car parts left. The box: And the built model, I was about 14 at the time, I used to love to hand letter things.
  8. I don't expect anyone to get this, posting it anyway Trust me I'll be the oneWho fights for you when things go wrongTrust me I'll never let you downLet you down
  9. That's always been a favorite of mine Adam
  10. When I was racing at commercial 12 v battery powered tracks back in the 60's we put a microswitch on the controller to reverse polarity when off the throttle. It worked quite well
  11. Question 7 on that test is where things fall apart. "How many of each sex....." Holy cow, someone would stage a protest if this was on a test these days.
  12. Hole, Gold Dust Woman. Yea, so Courtneys a mess, this song makes it all OK.
  13. That would certainly be good news if its the '62 Fury. I'd be more inclined to think its H1231, the 32nd scale Chrysler New Yorker.
  14. You guys are wrong. It's Porch. 924's are "front porches" and 911's are "back porches"
  15. Wheelbase and stance errors always bug me, and of course what the American companies do with wheels and tires, although there are some notable exceptions. Blunders on the body dimensions are a big problem, but they can be corrected, usually. The way some grille/headlight/bumper areas are addressed has turned me off on a number of kits. I can fix a lot of stuff, and swap wheels and tires, but the work required to alter the front end and then send things out for plating if needed is just ridiculous. Some of the kits have only a passing resemblance to the real thing.
  16. He posted on his facebook just last week.
  17. They look like Italeri tires. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Italeri-tires-1-24-/272470002341?hash=item3f707a4aa5:g:ZToAAOSwux5YNkTi
  18. The Lindberg Show Rods kit that's due out soon has engines in it.
  19. I clicked on the "mark forum as read" and the green labels on each thread in the forums disappeared. I logged out but they still weren't there.
  20. I'd much rather buy one old original vintage kit for $50 or 60 than two or three new ones at $30. Even the new kits that interest me have so many "issues" that I pass on them.
  21. Someone in my town had a blue version of this. I didn't remember what it was and couldn't find it so I cheated. Oh well.
  22. Excellent work, Ron. Sure looks a whole lot better with correct wheels and tires, and properly lowered!
  23. Fast yes, but I'd be pretty scared to do a 12 second 1/4 mile in that thing.
  24. What's your feedback on the Orange Wheels? I've been thinking about getting some myself.
  25. It came in light blue too
